The picture of the property looks slightly less appealing in person. The yard is long and narrow, butted right next to another property that has a section of toys for outdoor playing in the neighbors yard. Not a real issue(everyone loves happy kids) but they can get quite loud out there playing. The yard has many, many ant hills all over which needs to be treated. The location and proximity to everything around is great. The bay is only a few blocks away. The screened in porch is a good feature, although it doesn't lock(which would have felt more secure). The inside of the house is quite nice regarding the floors, cabinetry and appliances. The furniture was disappointing. Dark colors and poor quality. I could have easily given the house a decorative upgrade and a beachy vibe. That would have made a huge difference in the experience. The beds were not comfortable at all. This could be easily remedied with new mattresses or with the addition of a nice foam mattress topper. The linens were ok. Clean but on the cheaper side. If you were buying this property I'd say go for it. It has a lot of potential. For a vacation rental property it could do with some interior upgrades to elevate the renters experience. The host was very quick to respond, so props for that! I would give this 8 out of 10 as an honest review I would definitely rent again and would recommend this vacation rental. It is value for money and with a few changes, it could be great.
