The non-manned check in process didn’t work, no contact made prior to check in time and phone was not answered. Eventually received instructions and code two hours after check in time. Frustrating. The room itself was great.

Great motel in the main street

Just a normal motel. Fine but not good. 4 people stay but only 2 chairs. Other units had outdoor table and chairs but we had none. No table inside either - there was a bench though but with only 2 chairs we couldn't use it anyway. Loved that there was no check-in required and that you enter with a pin code emailed to you the day before. Location ok but noisy.

Great location & a decent room at the right price

This is the second time I've stayed at High Street Motel. I came back because it is in an excellent location, close to everything in town. The unstaffed reception takes some getting used to, but after some phone calls and text messages, I finally got my key code. Noting that this was a last minute booking, so not a regularly timed process for getting the code issued by email.
