A nice and spacious holiday-home situated on a good location.A bit hard to find as it lies behind some houses off the street. It's OK for all seasons; sit and eat in the garden when it is warm; stay inside when not, there is plenty of room! There's even a stove. The access staircase is for the more agile; better bring your stuff through the garden. The friendly family oversees your well-being, ready to answer your questions or for just a chat. The kitchen is OK but not for those who like to do five star cooking; it lacks the tools. Still: there is enough cutlery to host a wedding party! The environment offers bike- and hike trails. Mostly well signposted, but sometimes not. Prepare for what you want to do, best get yourself a map. All villages around offer trail folders but routes sometimes intertwine and then it seems even the locals have got mixed up with where to go!Most villages around offer some kind of restaurant. Check their opening hours! The bigger (...) places even offer a choice of restaurants, but you will have to do some effort to find this very German place offering typical German food. Lots of Pizza-, Indian-, döner- and Vietnamese joints! To charge your EV you need to find a suitable charging point - fast chargers are not very wide spread. Tip: fastcharge at the Netto supermarked in Sulzbach while doing your groceries.Bigger cities: Nürnberg and Regensburg. Takes one hour to get there. Two weeks should do the trick - come back another season!
