You said book now as a price increase might accur if I book later , so I booked got to hotel on your say so , bar was shut all night , no evening meal available, please just tell the truth . Kind regards pete.

Nastiest hotel in UK??? Perhaps bottom ten.

This place is a dump. I booked it because it was near the car rental drop off and that was a mistake. They have WIFI and parking... For a price, deceptively misinforming on here making it look included. I mean seriously, no working wifi at a hotel, then charge for the one that does work. Every crappy coffeeshop offers that. Its like the ryanair of dumpy hotels in this regard. Beyond that, filthy carpets coming in that need vacuumed, rude staff, loads of sketchy guys outside smoking weed, and drama heard in the halls and elevators throughout the night. No security from the appearances of it. Room was run down, dingy, and I wouldn't've been surprised if the place had bed bugs on occasion.

Ideal for just getting your head down and you get what you pay for, no complaints at all, great location, comfy bed, all good

Great value for your money. This is a clean hotel with comfortable beds. It's close enough to the Royal Mile to walk. Nearby village of Dean was nice to stroll through in the morning. Uber Ride to airport was £27.

Down at heel and not so cheap (mind you, nothing in Edinburgh is). Good location mind you. 8 minutes walk to Haymarket and Rose Street so not a bad option but it could really do with some tlc.

Dirty carpets throughout the whole property, couldn't access my room with the issued key card for about ten minutes had to return to reception and even the card worked on a door near said reception i still couldn't get in and when I asked a room with a window because I have difficulty breathing during the night i got a dirty look as if to say how dare ask for a different room, one carpet in particular looked as if it hadn't been hoovered in weeksit had bits of dirt all over it an appalling attitude by bar and reception staff.

The hotel the staff the room everything was fine but the pet friendly hotels are never clean, I was scratching my arms all night I thought there was bed bugs and pet bugs on the mattress and bedsheets. They should have separate rooms for people only and separate rooms for people with pets. I was disgusted by this and I don’t think I’ll ever book pet friendly hotels ever again
