Iâm sure this property is lovely, but I wasnât impressed with the check-in process. The listing states the property is managed by Joivy and a Government-issued photo ID may be required at check-in. There is no âmay.â They will require it. Joivy uses a third-party service for this (Enso Connect). They required me to first enter some personal information, upload a photo copy of a driverâs license/passport, and allow access to my phone camera to take a personal photo. Sending a consolidated list of my personal information in the form of a copy of my driverâs license to a third party company in order to rent a property isnât ideal. I wish this property listing and Joivy had highlighted that they use third party ID verification. I refused to give over my information to the third party and just ate the money. I found another lovely property on VRBO with no such requirement. If youâre comfortable giving a copy of your ID with personal information to a third party, this property is probably fine for you. If it makes you somewhat uneasy, however, I would suggest finding a different one.Â
