Greeting on arrival was friendly. Room was clean and spacious. First morning breakfast was poor not much choice or much left when we went. Different experience next morning more better. Only gripe not much off fruit selection. But otherwise ok

I can’t rate this property because my daughter was moved because the room she had been allocated had a flood and she was moved to another hotel. We were assured the sister hotel had the same facilities (i.e spa and pool) but that was not the case. They had to spend time moving their luggage between hotels and whilst the reception team the new hotel were great this was far from ideal for her special weekend away got the rugby. We were also noted of the issue at 4pm on the day of check in.

Room phone was out of order, mugs were damaged, couldn’t use gym or other facilities as they closed it earlier. This hotel needs improvement in terms of facilities and house keeping. Made complain twice but no action.

Good location for Edinburgh, not the cleaniest of hotels, bedrooms quite dated yet comfortable. Staff not the kindest and helpful as other hotels. Bar/ food needs more training and knowledge

Larger room and more facilities than expected. Good cleanliness and free facilities like Gym, Sauna etc. Negative experience is the room allocated was next to lift and the lift exhaust fan was very laud. Tried to call reception many times but no one picked up phone.

The room was absolutely fine. There was a tapping sound coming from the radiator that was a bit disruptive when trying to sleep.

Staff were all really lovely and helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Only little niggles would be that the tap in bathroom was hanging on by a thread and the soundproofing isn’t great - someone was marching around upstairs and the other rooms doors needed a wee oil.

The beeakfast okay but hot breakfast better to order rathervthan buffet but due to clientele ie business maybe thats why its buffet Choice very good and healthy continental .The service was good enough helpful The room was clean and shower excellent.
I don't know who painted this picture but I found very relaxing loved the colours I didn't ask if there were prints of it to buy
