The room was clean, warm and parking was very good. Staff was friendly and easy to talk to. My stay was very good I would recommend the Royal Lodge to travelers who are looking for a clean quiet place to stay. Thank you to the staff at the Royal for a very pleasant stay.

The place has definitely taken some wear and tear over the years, but for the price we paid, the linens were clean, the plumbing worked well, the staff were friendly, and the check in and out was smooth. I'd stay again.

AVOID!! Stupid staff turned away my son late night from the room I had pre-paid leaving him stranded. He didn’t have a credit card for deposit for incidentals/damage even though I booked it and could’ve sorted it beforehand if they had mentioned it. Never before had a problem having booked hundreds of places across Canada with debit card deposits! No Duty of Care. No clue. This place is a DISGRACE to Expedia and should be removed immediately. I’d give it ZERO STARS if that were possible. Awful. Atrocious. Avoid.

The hotel room was disgusting. Dirty, stained carpet, lots of damaged furniture. The pictures in the websites are extremely misleading.
