The stay is a nice home with great access to the lake. We did find beer cans there from the previous stay at the dock and ran into a major fire hazard with the grill that was not well maintained but overall I would consider booking again based on the cleanliness and prime location.

GREAT stay at Lake Sara!

The house was very clean and great for a family stay. It was exceptionally well stocked for all small items needed for cooking. The downstairs worked well for folks to hang out or play games. The area by the water is tucked deep in a cove and was enough space for several to do some bluegill fishing. We enjoyed taking the canoe for a cruise around the nearby coves. There were other items for our use which included: a kayak, life vests, swimming rafts, Lily pad (swim pad), and swimming noodles. Although the roof deck at the dock was closed for updating, there was plenty of room to have fun right by the water. There was shade by the water and sun off the back deck of the house. Although we were a busy fishing, there was a grill, moveable fire pit, bags, and darts This house is pet friendly but you would not know it. Besides the dog treats left for your pet, there is not a shred of evidence of pets coming and going. The communication with owner, Christy, was timely and helpful. Christy had recommendations for boat rentals, restaurants, and local places of interest. We were very happy with our stay and hope to return.

Very convenient place to stay, All the amenities we needed!

We needed a place to stay halfway between home and further destination to breakup a long family road trip. This home was the perfect location, very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Our 9 year old, 14 year old and 21 year old all had a place to sleep and plenty of options for entertainment. It was also a very peaceful location and the lake access would be great for a leisure trip. Thank you to the host for making everything so easy!
