Michl in Mauthnereck is peacefully nestled in the woods and nature. No luxury. No frills. Instead, an authentic, simple wooden cabin—just like in the old days. If you want to consciously unplug and appreciate the essentials, you’ll feel right at home here.



The cabin is practical and cozy, heated traditionally with wood. Lighting the fire is part of the experience and creates a special, welcoming atmosphere.



Everything you need for a relaxing stay—simple, practical, and well thought out:

- Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric stove, oven, coffee maker, and dishes

- Living room with HD TV, dining area, and comfy sofa (sleeps 1)

- 1 bedroom with double bed (sleeps 2) and gallery room with pull-out bed (sleeps 2), accessible via a steep space-saving staircase

- Bathroom with shower and toilet

- Wi-Fi available, but you can also choose to go offline

The self-catering cabin for up to 5 guests is easily accessible by car. Hiking and MTB tours start right at your doorstep.



The Koralm offers tranquility, views, and pure nature—waterfalls, foraging for mushrooms and herbs, or wildlife watching. Enjoy swimming at the idyllic Soboth reservoir or the outdoor pools in St. Oswald and Eibiswald. At Soboth reservoir: stand-up paddling, diving, surfing, and boat rental.
