On a work visit. One day privately booked, the rest by the meeting organisers. Venue easy walk from Eindhoven station. Great location for for etc. Shopping nearby. Room was lovely and big with kitchen inci. Combi oven fridge coffee machine etc etc. wardrobe looked a bit out of place. Breakfast good. Staff friendly. But....the hotel is being rebuilt in places and the instructions to get to some rooms made an assumption that folks knew their way around. It took me several attempts and then for the rest of my stay I kept coming across confused folks and had to help them. The place needs extra signs during the chsnges. Apart from that, very nice.

The room was spacious but not handicapped friendly. The balcony was five steps up and out without handrail. The show was a step up and did not supply a shelf for shampoo and soap. They did not have easily accessible electrical outlets in both sides of the bed for breathing devices and digital equipment. The room was dark and oddly decorated.

Enlightening

Excellent location convenient for exploring the city and within a short walk of the train station. The hotel is oozing character maintaining the style and spirit of Eindhoven's long-standing connection with Philips. The hotel has got a great layout, the reception is welcoming and this remains throughout the stay. People are clearly proud to work at Westcord and it shows.
