Great Hotel

I would recommend this Hotel to anyone going to Calafate. They made our stay unforgettable We booked the tours through them and was great. We loved the breakfast overlooking the lake. You have to try the Calafate ice cream

Enjoyed stay, nice position near Lake Argentina. Nice walks along lake front.

Good if that's what you're looking for

This is a hostel, make no mistake. We were aware of that, wanted the value to just stay one night and visit the park. We were lucky to get a private room with a queen bed and bathroom. It definitely wasn't the comfiest, cleanest, or nicest, but for a shower and sleep before an early flight, it was fine. There is a pool on site, which is very popular, and also a "restaurant" which only serves food at certain hours. Music played in the common areas until 1 or 2 am, and wifi was pretty troublesome and hardly worked. If you're a young backpacker, or a couple on a budget, go for it. Plenty of tour resources and a travel guide library/concierge available. You'll meet other people and save hundreds over the Sheraton, just know what you're getting into. Can't say much about breakfast since we missed it with our flight time, but be aware of a 50 peso deposit per person when you arrive as well.

Comfortable and cosy

The staff were very helpful and friendly. A great location- 5-10 minutes walk into the centre of town for shops and restaurants. Also just across the road from the pathway around the lake- the hotel has bikes that you can use for free to ride around it. The hotel is not new, but very well kept with clean and comfortable rooms that seemed to be very good value for money.

Hotel bem localizado, quartos confortáveis

O hotel é bem locaizado, limpo, instalações novas, bom restaurante e quartos com bom tamanho e camas confortáveis. O ponto negativo vai para o café da manhã que poderia ser mais variado e com produtos mais caseiros e no quarto a ausencia de um frigobar é muito sentida.
