Welcome to The Knotty Pine a Cozy Cabin on the Coosawattee River located within the Coosawattee River Resort. 3 bedroom 2 full baths with sleeping accommodations for up to 6. Enjoy a crackling fire in the fireplace from the comfort of the couch or recliner or the outdoor firepit riverside. Emphasis has been placed for all those who like cooking. We have a Pittboss pellet smoker/grill combo, microwave/airfryer, Kitchenaid professional grade mixer, crockpot, Belgian waffle maker, and many other common kitchen gadgets! Enjoy views of the river from the screened in back porch or our riverside 16' x 16' deck by the firepit. Coosawattee River Resort has many amenities for your enjoyment... 3 pools (1 indoor heated for year around enjoyment), arcade, putt putt golf, gym and much more!

If you've stayed at VRBO's before, you start to recognize properties that are owned by a corporation vs those handled by the individuals that actually own and care about the property. These folks care about the house. They care about your stay. Lots of little details that let you know they want you to come back. We stay in Coosawattee often. This house is super close to one of the gates and it's all paved roads to the house. The street has almost no traffic on it, but you will hear some road noise from across the river. We've already booked our next stay. Looking forward to it.

4th of July Trip

Beautiful property, accurately described in listing. Ease of dealing with PO’s is exceptional. This was our 2nd time staying and we will be back. The ease to downtown Ellijay is exceptional. Pool also is minutes away. Great place!

The knotty pine

Fantastic property. Cute cabin right on the Coosawattee river. Michael is a really nice guy who goes above and beyond to ensure his guests are taken care of. We had plenty of room for our stay with 2 adults and 4 teens. The Coosawattee River Resort has plenty to do like fishing, tubing or going to the pool or rec center. There are wineries, apple orchards, hiking trails, waterfalls etc within a short drive. You will love your stay here.

Cabin was super clean & cozy. Hosts were very accommodating. Hot tub was very relaxing as was sitting down by the river. We rented the Ranger & cruised around the resort. Had a picnic at Fish Trap Park. It was a wonderful time.

Hosts were very friendly and courteous. Quick response when asked questions. Decorated in fall decor. Thanksgiving tree was very cute. Lots of deer around. Bought deer corn and fed them. Enjoyed the popcorn machine. Will be back again.

Perfect Place

We loved everything about this place. There was so much to do at the house and the rental of the side by side was an added bonus. It gave us the opportunity to explore the beautiful resorts and its parks. Great host and cozy cabin close to town. We will definitely be renting this one again. parks.

The cabin was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. We loved the landscape in the backyard. It is easy to walk to the river. We loved roasting hot dogs & marshmallows on the fire pit & eating outside.

Great Place to Get Away

Great home with great hosts. The Knotty Pine had everything we needed for our vacation. The hosts are amazing! The one small thing we had to get past was having to check in with security every time we would leave. That is a small inconvenience vs how nice the property was.

Great long weekend!!

This was exactly what we wanted and we needed. The community is amazing, the house and location had everything that we needed and we were able to relax, unwind and just enjoy each other. We would definitely stay here again. The hosts are amazing and some of the best hosts we’ve ever worked with.

Exceeded Expectations

The family absolutely loved it!!! If anything the owners undersell this place. Truly is a hidden gem. Kids and adults of all ages will have a great time here. Summer wouldve been even better with the river right behind. And communication with the owners was better than any of our previous stays on vrbo. Great Place

My wife and I stayed here for a week in April. The owners were very helpful through the entire process and made sure that we had all the information we needed. The cabin was very easy to get to with all paved roads and the driveway was also very easy to get in and out of. The cabin was very clean and the perfect size for us. We enjoyed our morning coffee and afternoons on the back porch watching the deer eat and watching all the birds and squirrels. At one point there were 14 deer eating. Make sure that you get some deer corn (Walmart in town has some) and put some out in the mornings and afternoon. After a few days the deer will be waiting for you. We also enjoyed the Ranger. We rented it for the entire week but because of the weather we were only able to use it for one day. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay at the cabin and we will be staying here again if in the area.

Must do with kids!

We had a blast at the cabin, my kids (4 and 6) didn’t want to leave! So many cool things to do and would love to return in the summer. The Kincaids were very accommodating and helpful. Memories were made and will never be erased.

Home Away from Home

This place is fantastic, and I highly recommend it. We absolutely loved it, from the hot tub to the ATV to all the deer we saw everywhere! It’s in a neighborhood, yet it’s still very quiet. We felt very safe as well. It is spacious and clean, and stocked full of more than you will even need! The host was very responsive and kind. We will happily return to this beautiful cabin in the woods whose pictures do not even do it justice! Oh and the popcorn machine was a huge hit with my teenagers! 😊

Fabulous Thanksgiving Family Vacay

From the moment we walked in we felt very warmly welcomed from the cozy little sign, the music that was playing to the decorations in the cabin. Our family felt very at home during our traditional annual Thanksgiving vacay! The amenities included were fabulous to include (and not limited to) the golf cart for use (addt. cost which we were happy to pay), hot tub, fire pit, fire logs, plenty of warmers, water front seating, access to the facilities as well. We were unable to use the water floats n such as weather did not allow, but the fire pit and warmers were perfect for evening fires with smores and morning coffee on the deck. The golf cart was incredible fun at all hours of the day to enjoy adventures throughout the Cosawattee River Resort. Communication with owners throughout our stay was on pointe even when they had to give us unusual news and alert us there was a loose kangaroo to be on the lookout for that happened to escape from a local refuge... we exchange comical messages.
