Major road construction on main road; many businesses closed (permanently) or just not open at 4 p.m. on a weekday—just run down. Hotel Nevada is a shining jewel amidst all of it! While the hotel and casino are old, our room was remodeled and was one of the nicer rooms we’ve stayed in out of the last 14 days travelling!

Showing its age

This is an antique hotel without the charm. Room was not maintained or updated, very small - especially the bathroom. Showerhead was broken. On the good side, the AC worked great, they had Directv, and the room was quiet.

This place was adorable. They made sure our service dogs felt welcome, they always had smiles and asked about or trip. They provided us discounts and free drinks. The room was clean, cute and adorable. The only downside is the adjoining family suite had no AC and it was warm that day, and there was no fans to assist in circulating the air conditioned adjoined room.

I don’t recommend eating at the dennys on site. The jailhouse restaurant across the street is good. The room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable. I also wouldn’t recommend the casino. There hasn’t been a jackpot win since 2022 from what their advertisement showed.

Dead bugs on the floor, black hair in several places in the bathroom shower. Soap supplied was broken into very small pieces. Window without a screen in the bathroom was left open.
