Relax in this bright & well-appointed 2nd row beach retreat where you are only 1 minute to the beach. You can see and hear the ocean from your deck without paying the waterfront rate.
Watch the stunning sunrise & sunset while having your favorite cocktails.
4 bedrooms, 3 baths + an outdoor shower.
Comfortably sleeps 8. Plenty of room to spread out.
2 king bedrooms with ensuite baths, 1 queen bedroom & 2 twin beds.
There are 2 entrances.
Take the main entrance through the left side deck. It will take you directly to 3 of the 4 bedrooms to drop off your luggage. There are 2 twin beds in the 1st bedroom, a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom and the primary king bedroom with an ensuite bath with a private deck.
The hallway bathroom shared by the queen & 2-twin beds room, washer & dryer are all in this level.
The 2nd king bedroom with an ensuite bath, living room, dining room & a well-equipped kitchen are in the top floor.
There is a 2nd refrigerator for your extra drinks & food provision in the ground level through the carport entrance.
There is a ceiling fan, TV/streaming and DVD player in every bedroom.
All 4 bedrooms have blackout curtains for a good night sleep.
The living & dining rooms are bright & airy with plenty of seating, a 55" flat screen TV with blue ray player.
The kitchen has granite counter tops, white cabinets & stainless steel appliances. It is fully equipped with a variety of small appliances including a 2-in-1 twelve-cup brewer & a Keurig single serve coffeemaker, a blender, a slow cooker to start your meal while you're out enjoying the sun & sea.
There's an assortment of spices & condiments for your home-cooked meals.
High speed internet & cable TV with streaming throughout.
2 beach accesses are located right across the street approximately 50 steps away.
Beach chairs, a beach cart & beach toys are available for your use.
An outdoor shower for rinsing yourself & the pup.
There is a corn hole set, a large gas grill & a picnic table.
We don't guarantee gas for the grill but cylinder available for exchange if needed.
Coffee pods, toilet paper & paper towel are provided to get you through the beginning of your stay but not provided for the entire length of your stay.
Indoor entertainment includes a DVD library, games & books.
The house is in a quiet residential area, yet less than 3 miles to town.
Emerald Isle is bike-friendly with a path that runs the length of the island.
The house is conveniently located near highly-rated restaurants, two supermarkets, shops, a public boat ramp & Bogue Inlet Pier.
ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND IN THE HOUSE or illegal drug use on property.
OCCUPANCY IS FOR 8 PEOPLE MAX. An additional $150 will be charged for each unauthorized guest per night or will result in immediate eviction without refunds.
We are dog friendly. A vacuum cleaner & a broom are provided for your convenience for dog hair clean up.
2 dogs maximum stay for free. Insurance liability restricts the following breeds of dog: German Shepherd, Pit Bull, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, Wolf hybrids & other aggressive breeds.
Sorry, strictly NO CATS. We have severe allergy to cats.
All towels & sheets are included in your stay with no extra charge.
Beds are already made when you arrive.
WE DO NOT RENT TO COLLEGE STUDENTS, FRATERNITY & THE LIKE.

It was a wonderful place for our mini family reunion. Just make sure you bring your own toiletries, but I am nitpicking here. We could see and hear the ocean and walk into it in just a couple minutes. It was clean and comfortable.

A great place to gather with extended family. Lots of fun and laughter playing games around a table that sat 8, morning coffee talks on the deck watching the ocean, beach chairs available for our daily beach time. Host texted to see if everything was going well. We brought our little dog who we could also take on the beach with us. So many compliments from the family about the place, location and beach time. Wonderful Emerald Isle vacation

MaryAnn was a terrific host. We had a few minor concerns during our stay which she promptly addressed each time. The house is lovely and in a great location. My family and I had a wonderful time!

Fantastic Beach House

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beach house! It was clean and comfy. It had a well stocked kitchen with great views because of the perfect location. The owners were so sweet and helpful the entire duration of our stay and always made sure everything was going well at the house.

We had a great week! Mary Ann and Scott were fantastic. The location was perfect, the home was clean, and the experience was just what we had been hoping for. We definitely plan to return!

Great beach stay!!

Sunset Dream West was a clean, well equipped, well maintained property in a great neighborhood. We cooked in and had everything we needed. The beach is only steps away. The owners were always quick to reply to our questions. We would definitely stay here again!

It was a beautiful property

Had a very enjoyable time in Emerald Isle. We had guests in 3 of the 4 bedrooms and this was an economical luxury alternative to us paying for 4 hotel rooms. Highly recommend Mary Ann and Scott.
