Feels like Italy! Come to VILLA ESCONDIDO and get away from it all at this one of a kind gated hilltop estate. Secluded -- yet minutes from downtown Escondido and major highways. The 750 sq ft spacious apartment is attached to the owner’s home-a Mediterranean Architecture Villa. The suite is completely private, free WiFi and cable. Private entrance, parking. Outdoor grill. One BR 1 BA with queen bed and fold out ottoman sleeper. Walk in closet. Huge bathroom and entertainment area with spacious couch, 2 recliners and large flat screen TV. Google Home mini, computer and printer. Fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee and drip coffee makers. Beautiful custom cabinets and slate floor.
If you don't feel like cooking, Escondido is home to many fine restaurants, outstanding breweries, and wineries within a few miles.
Step through the French doors of your suite and relax by the pool, taking in the beautiful views of the native vegetation and the Escondido hills. Listen to the birds or, if you prefer, the outdoor speaker system. Enjoy the serenity of this hide-away estate while knowing that you have easy access to all the major Southern California destinations!
If you’d rather stay home, you have access to your own outdoor grill.

Beautiful peaceful location. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub (it was 90 degrees in Escondido in February!) and the neighborhood is relaxed and quiet. Everything was great.

The long drive way leading up to the villa and the beautifully landscaped grounds let you know you are in for a treat! This villa is very clean and has all you need. The bed is so comfy and poolside is beautiful and peaceful. The jacuzzi was amazing! Robert and Julia were the perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome! My husband wasn’t feeling 100% , a bad winter cold, and Julia even brought us fresh lemons from her yard and honey. Very kind! This villa is so cozy and feels like home! You’re going to love it!

Much larger and better appointed than expected. I loved having separate vanities. The location was perfect for our visit. As someone who grew up in the area, I remembered the big White House on the hill. It was a treat to stay in their guest wing. It would be nice to come in warmer weather to enjoy the pool area. Maybe next time?

What a great place to come and unwind. Julia and Robert were amazing hosts. The villa is so nice and comfortable with plenty of room for my wife and I. Huge spacious bathroom. We enjoyed our time here. Even got out and went for a walk in the neighborhood.

Our four night stay was a wonderful experience, especially since the weather was sunny and warm so we could use the pool every afternoon! We used each morning to go out to breakfast at any number of wonderful local restaurants in the area, and then either go to the beach or go to Julian, etc. Escondido is a wonderful hub, with much to do in the area, including visits to wineries, casinos, or just go for a wonderful drive out into the country.The owners/hosts were very accommodating and we would love to come back someday!

Beautiful place to stay for a few days while I was working all over San Diego area. Pool is gorgeous, as is the very nicely decorated suite. Amazing 3 room well designed bathroom, with great walk in shower and separate bathtub area. Hosts make the stay very easy, with good kitchen amenities and open space living room and bed. It all fits! Wish I was able to enjoy sitting out by the pool longer but was too busy working. Great stay!

Five Star Villa

A peaceful and stunning oasis to rest and refresh one’s mind and body. We enjoyed lounging around the pool in the evening after the day’s activities. Location was perfect for visiting the SD Zoo Safari Park, family events in Valley Center, hiking trails, concert at the local Arts Center, and dining at the unique restaurants in downtown Escondido. We look forward to our next visit to The Villa.
