Stunning week at the Verdon Gorges
Posted Aug. 27, 2023 on HomeAwayThe villa was just as spectacular as the photos if not more so. The panoramic views from the property were incredible and the pool was a great way to cool off from the sun. There was a great restaurant just down the road with mini golf for the kids which was so practical. Lac d’Esparron, I would say is the prettier of the two lakes, but proximity to Lac de Sainte Croix is reasonable especially with the beautiful scenery on the journey. Would strongly recommend a holiday here. Great variation of pool time at the beautiful, rustic villa and outdoor activities. We would love to come back.

Comfortable and amazing location
Posted Jul. 1, 2023 on HomeAwayWe enjoyed this clean, comfortable and spacious 3 bedroom 3 bathroom house. Amazing location with the pool overlooking the Lake Esparron. Always a refreshing breeze so we were never hot inspite of the summer weather. Will definitely be back.

We all had to keep pinching ourselves that we were lucky enough to have booked this fantastic place!!! It is also a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding, picturesque area. I would return in a heartbeat 💕

Charming house with spectacular views
Posted Nov. 12, 2019 on HomeAwayWe were fortunate enough to spend two weeks in this wonderful villa, it was well equipped with all you need for a stress free stay. on arrival we were met by Madam Guichard a lovely lady who gave us a comprehensive tour.
The house is situated in a quiet peaceful setting on a private road a short drive to shops and restaurants.
What made this stay so special was the views, absolutely stupendous, we are hoping to go back next year.

Posted Sep. 23, 2019 on HomeAwayJust finished a fantastic week at this property. House is a bit old, and probably soon need a brush up, but there are all you need, Madam Guichard is available to help if you need more. We had no issues at our whole stay, so absolutely nothing to complain about.
But forget about the indoors, as this location is all about the outside and the spectacular views you have all around you, as that will take your breath away. Thank god for iPhones, as you will take 1000's of pictures, but happy you can delete duplicates, even no two pictures are really alike:-)
The location is also perfect, as it is close to the city, only a 10 min drive, with all the restaurants and a few shopping possibilities, so you can hurry back, and have your evening wine, and suck in the fantastic views, and enjoy the silence of the area.
We will for sure come to this region again, and most likely to the same house, as this is a little perl worth staying at.

Stunning location!
Posted Sep. 30, 2018 on HomeAwayThis house is in the most beautiful location imaginable. It must be one of the very best locations in Provence. The photographs show the view down the lake to the South, but the are also glorious views down branches of the lake to the East and West.
The Guichards are excellent hosts and gave us a very comprehensive tour of the house on arrival. There were no maintenance issues, so we didn't have to bother them during our stay.
Not only is the location so beautiful (photos just don't begin to show it), but it is also an excellent spot for touring Provence. We were on the trail of Jean de Florette and visited all of the villages where it was filmed.
We also took a drive down to the Cote d'Azur to visit some friends - which was alos easily achievable as a day trip.
All in all, we are delighted to have chosen this house which was perfect for our family (mum dad and 2 children in early 20s) needs.

Aussergewöhnliche Lage und Ruhe
Posted Jun. 20, 2024 on HomeAwayDas Haus für 6 Personen hat eine außergewöhnlich gute Lage. Morgens auf der Terrasse frühstücken mit einer Aussicht wie auf einer Postkarte ist einfach genial.
Super war die Private Zufahrt, so das keinerlei Durchgangsverkehr herrscht.
Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Liegen und Stühle sind neu.
Wir wurden trotz der späteren Anreise persönlich Begrüßt und alle Fragen wurden beantwortet.
Was zu erwähnen ist, dass der See vom Grundstück nicht einfach zu erreichen ist, gut zu Fuss und keine Angst vor Seepflanzen sind die Voraussetzung. Aber das war kein Problem, da der Pool außergewöhnlich schön ist. Uns hat also nichts gefehlt.
Das Haus ist innen sehr großzügig geschnitten, gepflegt und individuell gestaltet.
Die Vermieterin überlässt einem ein sehr Sauberes Haus und sorgt für ein Wohlbefinden von beginn an und ist stehts erreichbar, sollten Fragen aufkommen.

Perfekter Urlaubsort
Posted Jun. 19, 2024 on HomeAwayWir hatten zwei herrlich erholsame Wochen in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Allein der Blick ist Erholung pur.
Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, der Pool ein Traum, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ein paar Kilometer entfernt.
Ein sehr netter und unkomplizierter Kontakt mit der Vermieterin! Vielen Dank! Wir kommen sicher noch einmal!
