The first gîte, spacious with its 250 m² on two levels, offers warm living spaces: dining room, summer lounge and winter lounge with fireplace. It has four bedrooms, one of which is adjoining, accessible via the children's bedroom, leading to an attic bedroom on the mezzanine (1 bed 180 / 2 bunk beds 90 & 1 bed 90 on the mezzanine / 1 bed 140 / 1 bed 160). The second gîte of 50 m², duplex, is connected to the first by a corridor. It is composed of a spacious mezzanine with 1 bed 160, giving access to a bedroom with 2 beds 90. Restored with old materials, it combines charm and authenticity with its stone porch, oak beams and traditional wall plaster. An outdoor terrace, parquet floors, and meticulous finishes complete this unique setting. Parking spaces for several cars. For a turnkey stay, utilities, sheets, and towels are included. I collect or rummage through old objects and old agricultural or craft tools. For over 40 years I have been restoring an old farm in the Monts du Lyonnais, which houses the cottage, to restore its former glory using noble and old materials: oak, stone, lime, terracotta tiles, etc. Local granite stone is omnipresent. I cut it, I bush hammer it, I build (dry) stone walls, where you can hardly see the cement, I have redone a porch, fireplaces, stone jambs, etc. I am always happy to answer questions from tenants who are interested in the past and inexhaustible for those looking for a cottage with a real history and soul.
