The first room I was given was not clean (even though it was supposedly cleaned)! The employee gave me another room across he hall. He came with me to the room as I looked it over. I told him it was better, and it was. That said, the longer I was in there, it just didn't feel clean.
I washed my hands and it felt like there was something on the bathroom counter. I wet a washcloth and wiped it, and the washcloth did not stay white. Again, this was a "clean" room.
There were hairs in the shower, on the toilet, and sink ( and they didn't belong to me). The TV console didn't look like it had been wiped. The chair really needed vacuumed. While none of this was major, it was enough to not make me feel confident in the cleanliness. I ended up purchasing cleaning supplies and cleaned the room myself.
I did not speak to management, but I did respond to Expedia's inquiry of the room and the message said it would be sent to property management (in which I did offer to provide proof if they wanted to reach out, but didn't hear from anyone). I did not receive housekeeping services while I was there.
All of that said, I felt the bed was clean and it was bug free. The shower had great pressure.
This is an older facility and it doesn't have lights in the rooms, except for lamps, and the room does get dark at night even with all the lamps on.
Also, there are 1/2 flights of steps everywhere and places elevators can't get you to. So, pack lightly. LOL.
