Our cabin (#5) was a pseudo up-scale cabin with several nice things, but overall not that great. No A/C. Large TV. Badly worn dining chairs. A window that did not stay open (and fell on my finger). Visible dust on ceiling fan blades. Intermittent internet service (for my phone service). Gas fireplace with small full time flame - pilot light - that contributed unwanted warmth to the bedroom. Skylights, one of which reflected in the primary (larger of two) TV. Lots of room for empty luggage and various other items, except in the bathrooms. Weird electronic toilet.

Max the property manager is an outstanding host . He was very kind and went out of his way to help us . The property is beautiful. We will definitely be visiting again and will stay here whenever we visit the area. Superlative

Bait and Switch
Publié le 13 juin 2024 sur HotelsWe reserved a king bed and queen sleeper. There wasn't a queen sleeper and my daughter had to sleep on the floor. The manager of the hotel was not there when we arrived, so we couldn't complain. They just left a key for the door and left before their supposed business hours.
The manager was very combative after I informed him of the situation in the morning. He yelled at me, insulted me, and said the problem was Hotels.com.
I have never experienced such horrible and unprofessional service in my life.
We request an immediate refund due to the "bait and switch" performed by this hotel.

This guest is short of impossible to work with. I asked him to contact hotels.com where he made his reservation, yet all he was interested in was a 100% refund. He was bitter, argumentative and there was no way I was going to make him happy. There is always ONE out of a thousand, and literally want to argue.

This is an incredibly beautiful piece of property.
Not only the accommodations but the grounds. Very, very clean, comfortable and spacious !!

So peaceful and accommodating! It was perfect for our family of 4 and a great size to be able to hang out on the deck with our extended family when we grilled supper!
