Staff was very friendly but the facility is in dire need of maintenance both inside and out and very close to blighted. Linens didn’t fit the bed, towels were literally threadbare, bathroom sink faucet leaked, I could go on. What little maintenance or repairs done in our room looked like they were performed by a group of grade school kids in a craft class. SLOPPY. There are much better options in the area.

Burn holes all around the room despite being non smoking things were poorly maintained. The breakfast is misleading its not free the coupon they give you is not for breakfast. The staff all seemed to be in a bad mood. Maybe its a bad area and they have to deal with bad guests alot Idk but it felt unwelcoming at best. The ocean view was fantastic! Would not stay there again though.

The hot tub and pool were good. No all doors worked properly. Staff at check-in was unimpressive amd seemed lazy. He was not dressed to check people in, never got out of his chair, and he was on his phone. He did however remember to tell us that $100 would be held for incidentals and any missing items. No hand soap in the bathroom. Pool table was a charge to play. Hotel did not have breakfast for guests. Restaurant opened later than posted. No service available in the morning until 8. That is when i saw the first attendant.

The property is beautiful with access to a walkable beach. It is an older building but the view is amazing. I was suggested to ask for extra pillows and I was glad I did. The hotel is pet friendly and that was a huge plus for us and our small Frenchie. The rate was reasonable, I would go back.

Staff were courteous and helpful. The room was in need of repairs. The sliding door to the balcony could not be locked. The curtain rods fell down when the drapes were opened. The sheets did not fit the bed. Deep pocket mattress with cheap standard fitted sheets. They would not stay in place, we woke up with them all twisted and sleeping on the mattress. Not all bad, the location is perfect, the view from the balcony gave us open views of the ocean. It was warm enough we could leave the sliding door cracked open (door didn't lock anyway) and hear the waves all night. While there is a restaurant on site we enjoyed a nice meal at the brewery just a few blocks away. Also, the lighthouse and pier are walking distance from the hotel. Despite the poor condition of the room I might consider staying here again just for the direct ocean access and view. The hotel could be alot better if someone would invest in maintenance improvements.

The staff wasn't rude, wasn't welcoming just here's your key beat it kind of mentality. The rooms a clean, ish. Don't look too close but it'll be fine as long as you don't think about. That said... it's Crescent City!! There is no such thing has a "nice hotel" in this area.

Staff is nice, but some appear to live in hotel. Like right next to guest rooms and with screaming kids. Also, its a dump. Not very clean or cared for. Sticky knobs and handles, dirty walls, filthy curtains. Absolutely disgusting elevator. Torn and dirty chairs/furniture. And beds are hard as a rock. Would recommend avoiding at all costs.

I did not stay in the room because of the overpowering scent of cleaner that would not dissipate by opening the sliding door and hallway door to bring in fresh air. I was charged for both days I had booked for although the reason was due to the room not being livable. I tried for 20 minutes to see if I could tolerate it and got a headache. All my cases, clothes, hair and skin took on the odor. Complete fail and out $415.
