The owners were very sweet and accommodating. The room was great. The heater was noisy, but I closed the bedroom door and put my earplugs in. The handle on the shower was hard to operate. I would suggest more lighting going down the stairs to my car. But overall, I thought the place was charming and saw a doe and her FAWN in the morning. It also wouldâve been nice to have some ice in the refrigerator.
Such a quaint property! The owners really take care of the unit, the main house and the property. You can walk to town (up and down a very steep driveway). Will stay here again if in the area.
Very comfortable flat above the garage. Fridge and microwave, but no cooktop or kitchen sink. Very close to town with some good places to eat. Tuya's is excellent and don't miss Poppa Joe's for the local breakfast scene and history lesson. The cemetery is very unique and a short away. Also the beach is close. Resident deer tribe is always close on the property. Great place to stay.
The property was peaceful and beautiful. our unit was comfortable, clean, quiet, and unique.
"Ye Olde Danish Inn" is befitting as a name for the property. Not only is it unique in and of itself, but it is in the small Victorian village of Ferndale, CA.
The staff, (consisting of the husband and wife) built and maintain the property. They are the people we all would love to have as friends.
More than well worth the stay.
We had a great time at Ye Olde Danish Inn. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We'll make sure to book this inn next time we are in Ferndale!
