Nul!

Hôtel vieillissant, literie peu confortable, petit déjeuner médiocre. Gros point négatif: notre chambre était commune avec la chambre d’à côté, séparées seulement par une porte verrouillée en bois: les voisins d’à côté ne pensaient sûrement pas être dans un hôtel, leurs cris, rires et leur bruit étaient perçus comme s’ils étaient dans notre chambre jusqu’à 2h30 du matin: solution d’insonorisation et de couplage de chambre à revoir absolument en plus de tout le reste!

Arrived a bit early, 1p, check in at 3. Walked into the lobby, completely dark. Asked about early check in and was given a very short response. When I inquired further to push the rude response, I was told the room wasn't clean. I had a non refundable reservation as we had made it on the road a few hours early. ( with the opening intro I would have canceled had I had the option) We were told we could use the pool prior to check in. We grabbed lunch and returned about 2pm. Upon getting in the hot tub, I noticed broken glass on the pool deck. I spent the next 20 scouring the deck picking up shards of glass. It was spread over half of the pool deck. I have no doubt some was in the water. Upon checking in, not with the same clerk, I notified her of the glass and showed her the handful I picked up. The first response was telling me where the garbage can was, followed by saying they had not been notified of the glass. No offer of compensation, no apology. Additionally upon entering the front door of the hotel there was a broken window. There was trashed stacked up next to the vending and ice machine on the second floor. That trash was still there the next morning when we left. I was told there cwould be breskfast starting at 6am. We left the hotel a couple of minutes to 6 and nothing appeared to be getting set up.. I wouldn't have eaten there anyway. Overall it was a crummy place, clearly management and the employees are uninspired.

It was fine for a quick sleep

This was fine for the $100 we paid. The bed was comfortable but a broken a/c unit on the wall was ancient. It worked but the front was busted and you couldn’t set it. It was on or off almost full blast the whole time. Walls and doors are paper thin. The group that was excited to get a 5:00 am jump on their day was talking about right outside my door for too long and it was loud. It’s outdated and a bit dingy. But like I said it was $100 vs over $200 in the area. Was fine for what I paid.

the room had the door forcefully opened at some time in the past you could see where the locks used to be there was gaps between door and frame the whole property was run down in disrepair the staff was unfriendly the we a maid came to the door and said whe would be back to tidy up the room did not happen we told the front desk we were going out so the maid could get the room ready well it did not happen i really think the staff had a your problem is of no concern of mine attitude i will never stay there again and if any of my friends ask i will tell them to bypass days inn for sure

I read the reviews and I was on a budget. Clean. That's pretty much what I look for. Check- in waals easy, no pleasantries from the guy at the desk (I'm guessing this is owned by an Indian family because they all worked there. Not very friendly, just did their job. The 3rd floor smelled like curry. Not one thing has ever been updated in this hotel, ever. It's very worn. Was our room clean?Yes, and the bed was decently comfortable, and that's the only reason I made it through the night. The fans are so old that the plates that covered the dials fell off and they took a piece of paper and hand wrote the temperatures as to which way to turn the dials, but I didn't care as long as it worked, which it did, at 1st. When the ac stopped working, I called the gentleman at the desk, who paused for about ten seconds, and I was about to say hello, when he said, "did you unplug it and plug it back in?" Yes, in that voice you just heard in your head. Which I did, and it surprisingly worked again.But then it failed throughout the night.Thank god the fan was blowing cool air. Did this place work for the night, yes. Would i stay here again? No. If I ever have to stay in evanston again, which I pass through a few times a year on my way to south dakota, or california, I will splurge and get a nicer hotel.

The hotel and room were nice. Check-in was substandard. Wyndom sent the usual invitation for a pre-arrival online check-in, which I filled in. When I arrived I was required to do the paper version all over again. The invitation for the pre-arrival suggested it would save time, and I would just breeze through and get a key. Instead it was as if I had never encounter the online check-in. Also, I arrived a couple of hours before official check-in time. I inquired if there might possibly be a room available now. The clerk point at the 3 pm sign and said “no.” I then asked if housekeeping might have one before 3. The answer was “no.” I understand policy, but I wish a had gotten a polite explanation rather than a point an no. Otherwise, a nice hotel with a great breakfast.

4th of July trip

Decent room. No frills but clean and comfortable. Got the hot tub room. It was nice especially for the price. Pool was clean and the grandids enjoyed it. Close to everywhere we needed to go. Front desk and maids were friendly.
