The elegant living room is a warm, inviting space tastefully furnished with a large sofa and two sumptuous armchairs. The most striking feature in here is the inglenook fireplace with wood-effect electric burner. Enjoy relaxing evenings watching a movie on the smart TV or children will love playing on the Wii console.
Conservatory/Dining Room
Streaming with bright light this pretty, heated sun room doubling as a dining room is a great space to enjoy meals together or relax on a tranquil afternoon.
Family Bathroom:
Relax and soak away stresses in the large roll top bath in this lovely bathroom. There is also a shower, WC and basin.
First Floor
Bedroom One:
Situated in the oldest part of the cottage, the master bedroom is full of character with exposed beams running down its eaves. From the stylish king-size bedstead, you can enjoy private views through the traditional cottage windows. The cushioned window seat is a wonderful place to sit and while away some relaxation time. The bedroom also has a wardrobe and TV.
Bedroom Two:
A delightful room with original beams and two large, single beds. The room is ideal for children or two adults sharing.
Outside
A lovely sun trap patio is the perfect place for meals or a BBQ on a summer’s evening with an ‘Outback’ gas BBQ and dining table seating four. An area with more relaxed seating is a great spot for enjoying the sunshine or evening drinks.

Parking: There’s free on-street parking any time, day or evening, outside Old Fox Cottage. Alternatively, guests can park in the village square just opposite the cottage
Please be aware that Old Fox Cottage is a very old house and has steep stairs and low beams. There are also a few steps up to the outside, raised patio area. Due to these unique features, characteristic of a Grade II listed building, we would not recommend Old Fox Cottage for people who have mobility issues
