My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the Antler Falls Cabin. The hospitality from Patrick and Christy is phenomenal. They personalized the stay and checked in to make sure things are going smoothly. And when I reached out asking a question, they responded instantly. It was amazing and would recommend staying at this cabin.
Great getaway cabin. Movie theater and game room great bonus. Hosts are fantastic and show they want you to enjoy your stay and everything to be perfect. Highly recommend!
What a lovely gem to stay at when visiting Asheville! Christy and Patrick were amazing hosts and made sure that our stay was perfect and that we had everything that we needed. We traveled with 4 adults and 4 kids (all under 7 years old) and we all had a blast. The kids would've been happy to stay at the cabin all day! The game room was hit as well as the movie room and tree house. Would stay here again :)
Our family had a fantastic time at this lovely home. We took advantage of the hot tub, video games, and the fuzzy blankets! The owners are super communicative and generous. From top to bottom this is a very special place! The cabin is in a fantastic location - close to Asheville, Chimney Rock area, and all sorts of fun! We ate at an awesome restaurant in town called The Local Joint and did a beautiful hike at Tomâs Creek Falls. We would not hesitate to come here again!
An Unforgettable Birthday Celebration! Our stay at Christie and Patrick's home was absolutely perfect. They are truly excellent hostsâso communicative and genuinely invested in making sure we had everything we needed. We were celebrating our twins' 7th birthday, and Christie went above and beyond by putting up a "Happy Birthday" sign and leaving a bottle of sparkling apple cider for the kids. It was such a thoughtful touch that made their entrance magical. The house itself is a hidden gem. Itâs spotless, incredibly comfortable, and we felt right at home from the moment we walked in. The kids were on a non-stop adventure, discovering all the "hidden treasures" scattered throughout the house. The variety of games, from air hockey to Mortal Kombat, kept everyone entertained for hours. Itâs impossible to experience everything in one stay!We loved exploring the area as well, taking a beautiful hike at Catawba Falls (highly recommended!) and enjoying our favorite spots in Asheville, like Chocolate Fetish. We created so many priceless memories here. The only low point was having to leaveâthe kids wanted to stay forever! We absolutely can't wait to come back. We highly recommend this home; you won't regret it. Thank you, Christie and Patrick, for an incredible weekend!
We had a great time at the cabin. It was centrally located for all our excursions to the mountains, the falls, the Sliding Rock Park, the Catawba Falls hiking trail, and the Tyron International Equestrian Center. The mountain views were spectacular and the rich mountain air was scented with mountain laurels. Sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous from the wrap around porch. We highly recommend this getaway cabin!
If you are looking for seclusion(other than the sister house) this place is off the beaten path and away from the hustle and bustle. Our family LOVED the games and outdoor space. We really enjoyed eating on the porch and grilling out. The kids couldn't get enough of the hot tub and all the nooks and crannies. We had a blast exploring and it was very humbling as we hiked around many of the areas still recovering from Hurricane Heleneâs devastation.
My husband, myself, our 18 yo and 14 yo went away for a few days. I chose this property for the entertainment with the arcade games, pool table, fire pit, and hot tub. The arcade games are not full size and neither is the pool table. This is an observation and not a critique. We enjoyed the fire pit and with the unfortunate storm, we did have a large selection of sticks. The hot tub was not "hot". I'm not sure why this was and we did not tell the owners and chose not to use it again. The drive to the property is tricky as parts of the roads have been washed away. There are crews there directing traffic but I would not recommend this drive at night. The beds are firm and the hot water in the kitchen is tricky. The waterfall never turned on above the fireplace either . The owners were so open and communicated with us regarding any messages sent. Load up on groceries before you arrive as well. We drove to Black Mountain for a few hours and it is not a long drive. Our stay was good for what it was but it is definitely a property that could use a little sprucing on the outdoor cushions for the furniture, a way to deter wasps, and a warmer hot tub. This is only our experience and shouldn't deter you from having your own experience here.
In the words of our kids, this house is "sick!" It was great for our family and we recommend it to anyone! We would definitely stay again. Our kids loved the game room and all the things to do inside and outside. The hosts were super responsive and helpful. One thing to note is the bunk room is a little more set apart from the main part of the house upstairs. Our bigger kids were okay with that, but just something to make sure you know. That said, there are so many spaces in the bigger part of the house that we would have been able to find plenty of space for everyone no matter what! We loved the fire pit and deck. The views were absolutely stunning and this house was the perfect place to get away while still being close enough to enjoy Asheville. Our daughter also loved looking for all the little animals and things "hidden" around the house. Patrick and Christy have really made this a delightful place to stay. We felt so welcomed! We would definitely stay here again if we come back this way.
Great property with great hosts. Remote enough for that mountain feel, but with easy access to Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Pisgah National Forest. Arcade was a blast and the sunset over the mountains was beautiful.
The house was stocked with so many fun family activities to keep our kids off screens and engage in games, activities, relaxation and togetherness. A perfect home base to return to after hiking and exploring River Arts District. House had everything we needed and hosts were very gracious and helpful with great communication and recommendations at the house. The fireplace and fountain above it were so beautiful and relaxing and we also loved the porch and views. Highly recommend this house! We enjoyed hiking DuPont State Forest waterfalls, Black Balsam Knob trail and Graveyard Falls along Blue Ridge Parkway (worth the drive, our hosts fav hike and they were right!!), eating at White Duck Taco Shop and 12 Bones Smokehouse in River Arts District. Thanks Patrick and Christy for a beautiful stay!!
My wife and her friends loved the cabin for a birthday getaway!! The owners were great hosts everything was as shown in the pictures and they even got my wife a birthday cake!!! We are looking into a family getaway here later in the year
We had an amazing time! This house has everything you could want and so many things you didn't even know you wanted! Highly recommend. We came with our 3 young children and they were entertained the entire time (even with the rain!)
