The staff and the Managers of this hotel need to pay more attention to detail. With the price of the booking, we deserve more than what we experienced this weekend. Let me break down the failures for you.
1. At check in, the front desk attendant gave us the wrong room and key card. I walked into an occupied room.
2. The TV was not plugged in. We couldn't get to the plug because it was in the back of the TV. We had to call the front desk to have it checked out.
3. The room was for a handicap so the shower configuration was weird and uncomfortable. I didn't ask for a handicap room so I'm not sure why I was given one. Anyway, there was crack in the shower head, and the clasp was put on the wrong way so there was no way to hold it while taking a shower. When I turned on the shower, the faucet got stuck. I had to call the front desk to have it fixed. This meant having to dress up again, etc etc.
4. There was no coffee for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The waiter said he ran out.
5. Before the 11 am check out, our key cards were deactivated. We were moving out our stuff to the car. My husband has to go all way to the lobby to get in.
To be fair, the service personnel responded quickly to the calls twice. I feel bad for him as he has to maintain such a badly managed property. The room is clean but the walls are thin as we were constantly being woken up by loud guests running around and yelling in the hallway.
I will never go back to this hotel. Be warned.
