Un peu daté mais agréable
Publié le 4 juill. 2022 sur HotelsCet hôtel, non dénué de charme, refuse la modernité pour vous laissez sejourner dans une atmosphère un peu surannée mais non dénué d'un certain charme.
Propreté et service sans reproche ainsi que la superficie des chambres.
Petit dejeuner standard.
Voiture recommandée pour les déplacements vers le centre ville.

le jardin est superbe. les installations aquatiques sont très bien. Bon restaurant et chambre très agréable, très calme et très correcte. Nous avons eu droit un soir à un concert de piano pendant le diner. Petit déjeuner très bien. Le wifi fonctionne bien
Le sauna aurait besoin d'un peu d'entretien. Il y a beaucoup de travaux dans le parc. Attention pas d'ascenseur et pas de climatisation

Staff were friendly however rooms were not modern, WiFi no good, phone reception not good either

Affordable hotel with wonderful staff
Publié le 17 févr. 2024 sur HotelsOne of us is a wheelchair user and although the room wasn’t advertised as accessible we were able to manage very well. The first room was not appropriate as we couldn’t get in because of the step in the patio door but we were moved in the morning to room 24 which was perfect for us. There was also a grab rail and stool in the shower. The triple room had plenty of space to manoeuvre. The staff were very accommodating and couldn’t have been more helpful. Unfortunately the pool is not accessible due to the steps from the changing room but they don’t advertise as being an accessible hotel so we weren’t expecting to be able to use the pool, but we were grateful to find a lovely clean affordable hotel in Falmouth that we managed to fit our needs. Every staff member was very helpful and friendly, from reception, room attendants, pool cleaner and waiting staff. Thankyou very much. We will be back. The only thing I’d add that would have made our stay better was a coffee table in the room to use when we were sitting on the sofa.

This was our second time staying at Penmere Manor. The staff are always really friendly, helpful and attentive, and the restaurant offers a good selection of meals at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

A lovely short break
Publié le 8 janv. 2024 sur HotelsA very good stay, the hotel is well located for driving into Falmouth as well as further afield. Some signs of wear and tear but generally a good hotel. The breakfast was really good and we used the pool and sauna which were great. We really enjoyed our time here.
