The original Quaker Meeting House built in 1701 was demolished in 1884 and the current building constructed in 1873, with an entrance on Gyllyng Street (previously Porham Lane) replacing an 1803 meeting house on this site but accessed from New Street. It continued to be a meeting hall until 1988, and was finally converted into these beautiful apartments after spending some time as a local badminton court (the court lines are still evident on the wooden floors inside the apartment!).
With a rich maritime heritage and the third largest natural harbour in the world, Falmouth is truly vibrant and lively during the summer, offering everything from superb Blue Flag beaches to sailing, cliff walking, and a bustling town centre with a wide range of top quality cafes, shops, galleries and restaurants.

Falmouth has a great community spirit and hosts many wonderful events and festivals throughout the year, both on and off the water, from the Spring Festival, Falmouth Week yachting regatta, world famous Sea Shanty Festival and historic events at Pendennis Castle, through to the Autumn Oyster Festival.
