During our stay, the restaurant was closed due to “a small fire”. The Hotel itself was very nice and we enjoyed the historic displays. The staff was also fantastic! The king suite with balcony was nice and had plenty of room. The soap, shampoo and hair conditioner bottles were disgusting. There was a buildup of mold/mildew between the bottles themselves and the metal wall bracket that held them in place. Lastly, our room was next to the elevator and the door to the room did very little in the way of blocking noise, let alone louder people. Despite any of this, we enjoyed our stay and would probably do it again, but with a couple of changes.

Parking is inconvenient and behind the building but that's ok because you can handle the bags yourself. Enjoy staying in the basement level where the sewer gas smells will waft from your shower drain to complement the rusted out splash guard in the sink and broken electrical outlet.
Fall asleep to the frantic racing of the upstairs guests in this sound amplifying lower level. We don't dust our decor that's historical dust. You don't need anyone to replace your towels or remove the trash because you enjoy that food carton smell, it mingles with the shower off gassing.
