Omodernt och sjukt dyrt

Här har tiden stått stilla.. som att resa tillbaka till 90-talet. Unken lukt i sovrummet, dåligt städat (spindelnät i taket på flera ställen. ) otroligt omodernt. Restaurangen serverade god (men dyr mat). Tyvärr var uteplatsen där man åt även den otroligt eftersatt med gamla plaststolar och smutsiga dukar. Har nog varit ett väldigt fint ställe förr i tiden. Sopstationen helt överfull. Frukosten helt ok och trevlig personal (som inte kan ett ord engelska) ”Poolen” var svinkall och smutsig. Vi betalade över 200€. vilket känns som ett rån för detta ställe. Omgivningarna är fina men räcker tyvärr inte så allt annat var för dåligt.

Prijs kwaliteit kon beter, echt familiebedrijf. Kamer superschoon, hadden ook een eigen terrasdeur naar buiten. Maar erg vroeg wakker vanwege geen verduisterde gordijnen, ook de nieuwe aanbouw waar wij sliepen was erg gehorig. Ontbijt was voldoende. Wel erg vriendelijk personeel.

Highly recommended for touring the area.

Our stay at the Gasthof zur Post was all we could have hoped for. The Kramer family and their staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent with lots of fresh food on offer at the buffet with the option of freshly cooked items too. We only ate at the hotel on one evening but the food was very good - plenty of choices. Rooms clean and spacious. We didn't use the spa facilities because we were visiting family in the area and time was short but certainly would if we stay again.

Vlotte check-in, vriendelijk personeel, ruime kamer (appartement) en zeer goed ontbijt-buffet. Alleen de informatie van hotel.com klopte niet helemaal; zo was er bijvoorbeeld géén dagelijkse huishoud-service (wel volgens hotel.com) en hebben wij zelf om o.a. schone handdoeken moeten vragen. Dit was overigens geen enkel probleem, we kregen direct wat we nodig hadden.

We stayed in one of their 2 bedroom apartments. It had plenty of room for 4 adults and a nice little kitchenette if we wanted to prepare food. The Wi-fi was OK, but the cement walls sometimes kept it from working well. It was clean, but they didn't (or just don't) clean the apartment or replenish towels daily, so you have to ask them if you want that. Minor issues were 1) heat-they have radiators in each room, but they weren't working when we got there, so we spent a very cold first night there. The next morning we asked about it, and they literally fired up the boiler for the radiator. The rest of the stay the apartment building smelled like campfire..but it worked and we were warm.The smokeyness didn't bother us, but if someone is sensitive to smoke it might be a problem. 2)Beds are pretty firm, not uncomfortable though. However, the beds in both rooms sunk down in the middle. We used one of the small drawers from the attached headboard to prop the bed up from underneath, problem solved! Overall, beautiful and quiet location. Pool was not in use due to weather, and if there is a sauna they didn't mention it or show it to us. Many good places to eat in nearby towns. We did not eat there as they seem to only serve food at certain times, and communicating in English was a little struggle. But very nice and they were helpful when we brought up our concerns, and we would stay here again.

Nettes Hotel mit sehr gutem Essen.

Aufgrund einer Sportveranstaltung übernachteten wir im Hotel Post. Alles bestens, sehr bemühte Chefs. Einziges minus... Keine Hunde erlaubt, war aber zum Glück nicht mit. Es wurde aber noch spät für uns extra gekocht!!!

God lejlighed.

Fik en rigtigt dejlig lejlighed med et godt køkken og dejligt soveværelse med en skøn madras og fred, har sjældent sovet så godt ude. Selve udenoms arealet pool mm trænger til en omgang, lever ikke op til beskrivelsen. Kom lidt bag på os at vi skulle betale ekstra for rengøring, da vi kun havde bestilt et alm værelse, til gengæld fik vi morgenmaden gratis.

Das Hotel quartierte mich in einem Nebenhaus ein. Das Appartment erinnerte mehr an eine in den 70ern errichtete Wohnung, als an ein Hotelzimmer. Jedoch keine Informationen am Zimmer betreffend eventuellen WLAN. Außerdem wurde ein Einzelzimmer bestellt und bekommen tut man ein Doppelbett inkl. einem weiteren Einzelbett in einem Appartment. Preis inkl. Frühstück war dafür ok.

A little gem of a place

We stayed here in the run up to Ironman Austria and it was a great. The family who run it are very friendly and speak a number of languages to an acceptable level. On the day of the race the hosts made an early breakfast, not just a simple spread but a whole breakfast service at 0430 am. That was a nice touch. The beds are comfortable, the room was clean and the views from the room and the restaurant were fantastic. If i do this race again we will definitely stay here once more.

Wir sind auf der Durchreise hier eine Nacht abgestiegen und haben es nicht bereut. Gegen 21 Uhr sind wir freundlich empfangen worden und das Restaurant hatte sogar extra für uns noch auf. Ein leckeres und preislich angemessenes Abendessen wartete auf uns. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Der Stil der Einrichtung war etwas älter, aber immer sauber und funktional. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend, inkl. frisch gemachtem Rührei und Ham&Eggs. Insbesondere der Seniorchef war sehr bemüht und an den Gästen interessiert.

Eine ruhige Nacht in den Bergen.

Sehr ruhiger, ländlicher Gasthof. Personal ist sehr bemüht, manchmal ein wenig hilflos. Kleinigkeiten fehlen, t.B. die Seife am Handwaschbecken. Matratze war leider sehr weich und durchgelegen.

Einfach, freundlich und zuvorkommend

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb von Ferlach und bietet einfachen Komfort. Den Wellnessbereich inkl. Sauna habe ich nicht genutzt, da zu wenig Zeit vor Ort war. Auf den Bildern sieht dieser aber sehr nett aus. Der Empfang war überaus freundlich und familiär. Mit der Buchung hat soweit auch alles toll geklappt. Auch dass ich einen Tag früher abgereist bin als geplant, war kein Problem.

Trotz fixer Buchung und zusätzlicher telefonischer Nachfrage am Anreisetag wurde uns beim Check-In mitgeteilt, dass unser Zimmer an eine andere Reisegruppe vergeben wurde, die am selben Tag mit mehr Personen als geplant anreisten und wir in einigen km Entfernung in einer Unterkunft einquartiert werden. Unsere Recherche im Internet zeigte, dass dies kein adequater Ersatz war. Man zeigte sich weder gewillt noch bemüht, hier eine Alternative anzubieten, sodass wir uns selbst am späten Abend noch um die Buchung eines anderen Hotels kümmern mussten. Kein leichtes Unterfangen, wenn Klagenfurt aufgrund einer Veranstaltung ausgebucht ist! Wir teilten mit, dass wir für die Zusatzkosten nicht aufkommen würden. Einziges Plus: die Überweisung des Differenzbetrags erfolgte zügig.
