Winter at Lake Neusiedl is much more than just swimming fun. It attracts visitors with winter walks, safaris, bike tours, thermal spa relaxation, unique and great cuisine - and lots of culture.
Winter by the sea has its own magic. The air is clear, the view is wide, and the tireless waves of the lake glisten from steel blue to silvery. Take a walk, feel the wind in your hair or simply watch the clouds drift by. Fantastic.
Without leaving the national borders, Lake Neusiedl is actually the closest you can get to this feeling. Because that's where it is: Il mare dei Viennesi - Lake Neusiedl, the sea of the Viennese. This often sounds a bit like a pejorative, but neither party deserves it.
