Lovely retreat in the country
Publié le 2 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayVery spacious house with cosy fire and comfy couches, surrounded by national park. Walking distance to Fitzroy Falls and easy drive into nearby towns. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed watching the birds. Lovely place to get away from it all and unwind.

Character filled retreat
Publié le 14 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved the character of the property and thoroughly enjoyed our stay on a very rainy weekend to celebrate several birthdays across a group of families. The layout of the living spaces was really comfortable and conducive to us all gathering together at one time or splitting into smaller groups to chat or play a game.
There were a few leaks which wasn't totally surprising given the weather but none of them affected our stay. The fireplace was lovely, at times we found it a little challenging to manage and it could make the space a bit smokey and Id suggest packing warmly as the bedrooms could be on the cold side. The kitchen was well set up for us to cook our own meals but do note the cooktop runs very hot.
The stairs and multi level living spaces worked well for the infants and almost 3 year old and we hope to return to the property for another holiday but may wait a while to do so as it would be very challenging for mobile 18 month olds to navigate.
Tim was friendly and responsive to messages throughout our stay.

Mother's Day Weekend away
Publié le 30 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe host was very accommodating and even built a handrail for my elderly mother. Huge, comfortable home very close to Firzroy Falls and national parks. We were a group of 11 women (3 generations), we had a wonderful weekend in this relaxing location :)

Publié le 25 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayTimbalah is an impressive property situated in a beautiful quiet spot and was ideal for a wedding at nearby Mali Brae farm. There is plenty of space, super comfy beds and a pleasant garden.

I got married at Mali Brae farm, property is super close to the venue.
Would highly recommend staying at Timbalah, the pool table and heated outdoor spa, are great entertainment areas!

Beautiful Country Stay
Publié le 8 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayHad a beautiful weekend away with the extended family. Plently of room and lovely living spaces to enjoy. Enjoyed the fireplace while the kids played pool all night long. Sweet little garden perfect for a morning coffee. Highly recommended
