Discrepancy between pictures and reality

The holiday apartment itself doesn't live up to the "hygge feeling" conveyed by the internet-pictures. It's neither clean nor consistently well-designed. Some baseboards are missing or loose and some walls need painting. While the owner has invested a lot of effort in the technology, including smart home technology, the accommodation unfortunately feels a bit cobbled together. Still, there are some good touches, like a beautiful fireplace and some cute furniture like old school desks. The drinking glasses provided are a wild mix, and wine glasses are completely missing :-(
