Welcome to your laid-back coastal escape in Florence, Oregon — tucked near the quiet, windswept shores of Heceta Beach. Just half a mile from the Pacific Ocean, this small chateau-style home offers a simple, no-frills place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the coast.

Step inside and you’ll find a cozy, functional living space designed for relaxing after a day outdoors. This vintage home reflects its coastal setting, with a more rustic and lived-in feel rather than modern or updated finishes. The living room includes comfortable seating, a flat-screen TV with soundbar, and a pellet stove to warm up those cool coastal evenings.

The kitchen is fully equipped with the essentials you’ll need for easy meals during your stay. While not newly renovated, it offers everything required for cooking, dining, and gathering with your group. The adjacent dining space and front deck provide spots to enjoy meals, morning coffee, or the fresh ocean air.

Outdoor space is part of the experience here. The home sits in a natural coastal environment, offering a sense of privacy and quiet. There’s room to relax outside, enjoy the fresh air, and take in the surrounding landscape that makes this stretch of coast so unique.

Please note: This is an older home that has been weathered by coastal conditions over time. Guests should expect a worn-in aesthetic rather than a polished or luxury experience. Additionally, depending on the season, the access road can accumulate standing water, and guests may need to drive through it to reach the property.

When it’s time to rest, the bedrooms provide a comfortable place to recharge after a day of exploring. The primary bedroom includes an en suite bathroom, and additional guest rooms offer simple, cozy accommodations.

The home includes WiFi and a smart TV for streaming. Wood pellets are provided for the stove, and parking is available for up to three vehicles. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome to join your stay. Please note there is no central air conditioning.

Just beyond your door, you’ll find some of the most scenic destinations along the Oregon coast. Heceta Beach is a short half-mile away — perfect for long walks, beach combing, and sunset views. A quick drive north brings you to the iconic Sea Lion Caves and the breathtaking Heceta Head Lighthouse.

For dining, shopping, and local charm, head into Old Town Florence along the Siuslaw River, where you’ll find restaurants, galleries, and coastal boutiques. Outdoor enthusiasts can also explore the nearby Hobbit Trail, leading to the secluded and magical Hobbit Beach.
