Whispering Pines Lakehouse:

This Beautiful Lakehouse located on Little Woahink lake and just across the road from Woahink lake is one of the most scenic lakes in Oregon and they are sure to please the entire family. This gorgeous private home sits just above Little Woahink lake where you can swim, or enjoy your favorite non-motorized watercraft. After a day on the water relax in the hot tub or grill up your favorite meal with the gas grill on the expansive rear deck. Inside this wonderful home you will enjoy the fully stocked kitchen, a cozy family room with huge windows to enjoy the scenery, and books and games for those rainy nights. When it's time to turn in you will have two master suits to choose from, the first (bedroom #1) is a large suite with a king bed, a huge bathroom with a soaking tub, walk in shower, and private door to the rear deck. The second Master suite (bedroom #4) offers extra privacy located at the far end of the home above the garage with a private bathroom, a king bed, a futon couch that converts to a queen bed, and a private rear deck. The two additional bedrooms just off the main living space use a shared 1/2 bathroom, Bedroom #2 has a bunk bed with a pull out bed underneath giving you three twin beds and has a foosball table, bedroom #3 can also double as a sitting room and has a pull down Queen bed with a separate entrance.

This pet friendly Lakehouse has room for the entire family, close to the Oregon dunes, Old Town Florence, and all Mother Nature has to offer.



Woahink Lake:

Woahink extends further below sea level than any other lake dammed by sand dunes along the coast. Woahink lake fills a depression in the Siltcoos River watershed about 3 miles from the Pacific Ocean south of Florence along U.S. Route 101.

Woahink lake is popular for a variety of activities, including boating, skiing, fishing. Species include largemouth bass, rainbow and coastal cutthroat trout, yellow perch, and others. Woahink state park on the east side of the highway has boat ramps, a roped-off swimming area, group tent camps, picnic areas, and a meeting hall.

This home is a quick drive from multiple access points to the Oregon Dunes and ocean ‹beaches including popular access on South Jetty Road then the city of Florence just a few miles north. The charming Old Town section of the city ‹is filled with lovely shops, cafes, galleries, and restaurants.‹ You will also be minutes from numerous trailheads for hiking or mountain biking. The ‹coastal forests flourishing in Douglas fir and Sitka spruce extend nearly to the Ocean.‹‹ Some trails wind up over and through sand dunes offering hikers the opportunity to ‹experience the unique natural wonders of this area. Bring your camera!‹ Take a scenic drive up Hwy 101 to Heceta Head Lighthouse where free tours are ‹offered daily.‹ Get your adrenalin flowing on a nearby dune buggy tour or with an ATV rental, or go crabbing from the Siuslaw Bay public fishing.

The place was not ready when we arrived. The house was beautiful, but it was definitely not Lakeside as described in listing. Again, the house was nice, but not at all what we were expecting. There was one roll of toilet paper for 3 bathrooms. ONE roll for several people. The kitchen was very functional and had plenty of dishes and pots and pans which we did appreciate. I was also expecting a 20% discount as it was a new listing.

Spacious and peaceful

The home offered plenty of space for our family of nine. The kitchen was well equipped. The kids really enjoyed the hot tub. The location gave us close and easy access to coast, dunes and quaint town of Florence.

Lovely home. It had everything we needed for 9 people. Secluded property. Kids loved the hot tub.Did have a mouse friend in the kitchen. But your in the woods so not surprising We really loved our time here.

Beautiful home in a beautiful area.

We really enjoyed staying here. The kitchen is a great space and had everything we needed. We were unable to get both TVs connected to the internet but fortunately, one of our party carries a tech bag and he was able to hook up a fire stick.

Loved our stay!!!

We had a great time! The house was perfect for our needs- husband, wife, teen, preteen, and mother-law. We could have had several more family members and still feel comfortable. The house was clean and cozy. We loved that the house had some fancy elements to it yet was very relaxing and laid back. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook several dinners. And we loved that the house was dog friendly! Great books and board games too! A couple of quirks: one of the sinks in the master bath was missing its faucet. No biggie though. There are only two full baths- one in the master suite and the other in the guest suite above the garage. So anyone staying in the bunk room or the small room with the Murphy bed had to use the shower in our room. The hot tub was delightful but the chlorine burned our eyes dreadfully. Lastly, the back deck could be spruced up but it was a great area to sit and read a book or have a cocktail. All in all we had a great time and will likely be back!

Nice property
 needs a few minor things fixed and we gave a list to the property managers. Upstairs bed bit soft for me but was ok for my husband 
 I just threw the futon mattress on the floor doubled up and made a sleeping space for me - it worked just fine. Overall happy with the place.

Family Get Together

Our family loved this place. It has a great location. The hot tub was a hit. The trail to the lake is steep, so not for the grandparents. We hiked at close hiking places. We rented 2 peddle boats in Cleanox Lake right across Hwy 101. We shopped in the old town in Florence, which everyone loved. We went on the dunes ride near there. We also went out to the south jetty and hiked around. We played games. we cooked some meals in and ate out as well, including ice cream a BJ's. We all had a great time.

Hidden gem

Such a beautiful, uniquely designed home! Perfect for our little birthday getaway with friends. Nestled in the trees you really felt like you were in your own little world by the lake. We had issues with a couple appliances, but the property manager was easy to get ahold of and handled the issues. Would absolutely stay here again.

We loved the property and had a great time! Only thing I would suggest is checking light bulbs, there were a lot of lights out. Also, checking batteries in tv remotes. A few of those were not working. Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Can’t wait to come back!

Oregon coast family trip.

Nice place a few minutes south of Florence, good base location, quick and easy access off of the 101, while still being fairly quiet and private. Bedrooms mostly as listed, but the 2nd master bedroom had a queen (not a king), 3rd bedroom had a murphy, and bunkbeds in the 4th. It slept 7 comfortably. The cedar stairs, decking, and landings can get very slick during rain (which is not uncommon), just pay attention. I would give it 4.5 stars.

Stay was good. Locks on doors are tricky, but we figured it out once we read through home instructions. Clean and spacious home. Steps out to hot tub are super slippery. Has a friend slip down them. Go slowly. Overall would recommend.

Woahink lake house

Location was very convenient for us to go to the lake for paddle boarding, kayaking. 15 minutes to go crabbing. Short drive to Safeway for groceries. Everyone enjoyed the stay.

Beautiful place, a few minor upgrades would go a long way

It was great overall. Good location, lovely home, very quiet. The area is amazing. Hopefully it doesn’t overshadow all the good but the bedding was a real problem. The beds were not very comfortable and the sheets and blankets desperately need to be replaced. We also had to wait for the cleaners to finish past our check in time and had to do some of the laundry they left. But again, overall we were pretty happy.
