Upon arrival, the first floor had a strong odor of animals and waste. My assigned room also had an unpleasant smell. Towels were left on the floor, multiple lamps were not functioning, the television remote had no batteries, and the beds were only full-size doubles. The bathroom had visible mold on the ceiling, and the bathtub was leaking.
I raised these concerns with the front desk, and the receptionist offered another room on the same floor, which I declined due to the overall condition of the entire floor. I was then moved to a room on the second floor, which was only a slight improvement but allowed for better air quality.
Unfortunately, several issues remained. The lamps and electrical outlets did not work, the room was under-supplied with only one washcloth and two towels, and the floors were visibly dirty and in need of vacuuming.
Due to the overall lack of cleanliness throughout the property, I chose not to eat the complimentary breakfast, as I had concerns about how food may be stored and handled.
I stayed only because I had work obligations. I would not return to this property. If cleanliness and comfort are important to you—especially where you sleep and shower—this is not a place I would recommend.
