Really impressed with our overnight stay at this lovely hotel. Great location and the hotel itself was super clean. We were in a "cosy" room but it was plenty big enough for us. We didn't eat or drink in the hotel so I can't vouch for the food etc but the place itself was great.

Super location. Really friendly and helpful staff. Amazing breakfast choices and beautiful restaurant for breakfast. Only negative thing about the hotel was the lift...it was absolutely tiny and quite grubby - not at all in keeping with the reception, bar and restaurant areas.

A home from home!

We have been staying here for a few days for quite a few years. It’s a sentimental journey for me, as I spent the first 8 years of my life in Folkestone during the war, from 1939 - 47. The hotel is beautifully situated, with all rooms giving a sea view. Over the years it has been renovated, and brought up to date. The rooms are warm, welcoming, have clean comfortable beds, and constant hot water. But the staff are its biggest asset! Welcoming, helpful, friendly, and any request is fulfilled if at all possible. The lovely receptionist, Philippa, even ran out to guard a parking space, whilst hubby rushed to get the car! The whole place feels so welcoming, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
