The Space:

The Blue Goose is your perfect home away from home. Two blocks from the beach and five minutes to Folly Center St, it’s perfect for couples or families with kids. This designer beach house is located in a quiet neighborhood with beach access only one home away - it's exactly what you need when you visit Folly.



Step inside to a pristine living space, with brand new floors installed in December 2023. The open-air feel will make you feel instantly relaxed. The living room offers all the comforts of home, while the beachy decor reminds you you’re on a beautiful beach vacation. Recline on the sectional and watch a movie or favorite TV show after a long day at Folly Beach. Also in the living room is a dedicated workspace for the remote worker or student of the group. The spacious kitchen has all the necessities for making delicious meals together. Off the kitchen is a covered deck where you can relax while being surrounded by the green foliage of palm trees. Be sure to take advantage of all the deck has to offer, including a grill and outdoor dining space. Guests can even hear the ocean waves from the deck.



Games galore! Play cornhole or challenge each other to Ping-Pong tournaments in the spacious garage.

Awesome beach house

My family of 6 stayed at the blue goose for Thanksgiving and had an awesome stay! It was the perfect place. Great location and close to everything. We’d stay there again the next time we go to Charleston!

Ladies trip

Great location. Great for a group of 6. Wonderful screened in porch. Not a ton of kitchen stock but we didn’t cook much so didn’t matter. Lots of the lights were burnt out especially in the bathrooms. But other than a few minor things I would rent again. Proximity to beach access is perfect!

We loved the blue goose! It was in a great location with awesome fun amenities, ping pong, corn hole, and bikes! Also had a few sand toys and chairs! Great quiet shaded street and very clean property! We hope to rent again next year!

Perfect location, beautiful beach.

What a great place to stay. Folly Beach is such an amazing little surf town with plenty of places to eat/drink, things to do and places to relax - all within a stones throw of beautiful downtown Charleston. The Blue Goose, located mere seconds from one of the best beaches on Folly, is a large, clean and welcoming property. The newly renovated house is managed by a large international property management company (with a local presence) and as such lacked some of the small personal touches of other vacation rental properties. Not necessarily a negative, and can be viewed as an asset if you need any help with the property, but the personal feel wasn’t necessarily there. Bring beach towels and get up early at least once to catch the breathtaking sunrise or sleep late and watch the dolphin play in the surf. Walk to town for a croissant in the morning or hit Bert’s for those last minute forgotten things, Folly and the Goose are where it’s at. What a great, great place to unwind.

Bright clean house close to the action

We had a fabulous stay here in the well-appointed Blue Goose. Watch for extra Vacasa management fees as you are comparing prices!! On-location staff were quick to respond when we arrived to a home with four empty soap dispenser. Cannot beat the location close to beach and all downtown attractions!

Blue Goose Beach House

It’s a nice clean beach house that is a short couple blocks to the beach and short walk to town. It’s perfect for kids with a room that has 2 bunk beds. Although there is no view of the beach it does have a nice deck with a screened in pourch. There is a good chance that I’ll rent it again.
