Maximum occupancy limits apply to children and adults 13 and over.
No one under the age of 25 is allowed to rent during the month of March. We do not permit Spring Break groups.

SHARED LOT
We are available during your stay and at times will be enjoying our travel trailer parked in the lot next door. The lot is gated off and private from the lot the home is on.

PETS
-Pets allowed on a case-by-case basis, must be approved in writing on the booking platform, and we charge a $100 pet fee per animal, per stay.

LOCATION
Middle River Terrace is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, steps away from Middle River water access and just a few blocks from the vibrant Wilton Manors.

Nearby you will find local gems such as Eucalyptus Gardens, Rhythm & Vine, Lazer Wolf, plenty of places to rent Kayaks/ Paddleboards, dozens of mid-century modern vintage shops, and most importantly; the golden sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach.

IMPORTANT
Strictly enforced by the city. We risk losing our vacation rental license if found to not be in compliance with the following:

-Our home is nestled in a residential neighborhood. There are noise restrictions all hours of the day with quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am.
-Guests are required to present an ID prior to receiving access codes.
-No on-street parking/ 4 car maximum
-Absolutely no so smoking inside
-No parties or gatherings that exceed the maximum occupancy
-Each guest gets a personalized lock code that expires at the time of check-out ensuring the safety of our guests and properties
-The door automatically locks behind you each time you exit so you never have to wonder if the home has been secured
-Free early check-in and late check-out (based on availability)
-Guests are responsible for presenting an ID/ photo just like a hotel. There is no exception to this rule.

As per the city of Fort Lauderdale-
*This property is registered with the City of Fort Lauderdale as a lawful vacation rental (license number VR-22020040)
-It is unlawful to allow a sexual offender or sexual predator to occupy this residence
-Guests must adhere to city ordinances applicable to residential areas including but not limited to noise, parking, and occupancy.
-The ordinance may be found online and is available in print on the home's interior.

HURRICANE SEASON
June 1st- November 30th. We encourage all travelers who book during this time frame to purchase travel insurance that covers natural disasters.

Guests are welcome to use the entire property except for our storage:
-over fridge cabinet, bedroom attic closet, hallway closets, office closet.

We are available during your stay and at times will be enjoying our travel trailor parked in the lot next door. This private lot is also enjoyed by our family and other renters through Hipcamp. The lot/ camping pad is gated off and private from the lot the home is on.

River Oaks Bungalow is close to downtown Fort Lauderdale, 17th Street Causeway, and Fort Lauderdale Beach. It's a quiet residential neighborhood with easy access to main thoroughways and Lauderdale Marine Center. Therr is a playscape and park just a 5-minute walk from the home. There are plenty of places nearby to get cocktails, fresh seafood, and soak up the sunshine.

Fort Lauderdale does have bus routes. We do not suggest public transportation in Fort Lauderdale as it's not as fully developed as in larger cities.
