La Quinta Inn at Miramar was a great experience stay. Definitely would recommend this hotel to my family/friends. Easy parking, the staff are great and helpful. The beach is walking distance. Amazing place to vacation!!! However for further activities, you must have a car.

Not Family Friendly-Very Disappointing Stay

We chose this hotel for our family vacation because it advertised free breakfast and was fairly close to the beach. Unfortunately, it was a bad choice. Our room was dirty upon arrival, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and the breakfast was very disappointing. The eggs were watery, the selection was minimal, and they didn’t even have real coffee creamer, only powdered packets. To make matters worse, the smell of marijuana was everywhere, which is completely unacceptable for a family-friendly environment. This was a horrible experience, and we will never stay at this hotel again.

Would not stay here again.

Booked a handicapable room with separate couch seating area a month in advance. Was assigned a room next to thw weightroom with a king bed which we booked and a set of huge double queen bunkbeds we were unable to utilize. Internet slow, breakfast was a no thank yoi and the pool was a nightmare with what was a summer daycare of about 20 kids of varying ages with 3 adults. Nice large pool with zero entry acces, but these children were not properly monitored with a two almost drowning before it was realized. They were given water cannons and kept shooting us in our faces, saying sorry while they did it countless times. Finally one adult said "Don"t shoot water at the guests!". What????? There was no bathroom usage outside the pool Either. This was some kind of hookup for this. They were not staying at the hotel. Sad because its a decent clean hotel. Oh and lol the breakfast lady is super mad and unfriendly. I just remember her face when I said good morning! Super nasty face wow! Do better.
