Located 12 miles from Glenfinnan, the famous ‘Road to the Isles’ and within easy reach of Fort William, the outdoor capital of the UK, Achaphubuil is an ideal base for those looking to explore the west coast of Scotland. The islands of Skye, Rum, Muck, Eigg and Canna can be visited from nearby Mallaig and Arisaig, or from Lochaline, a short ferry crossing will allow you to explore Mull, Staffa and Iona. For those who enjoy a day on the beach, the white sands of Morar are a short drive away, or Ardnamurchan Peninsula the most westerly point of mainland Britain is home to Sanna Bay. Take a trip on the famous Jacobite Stream Train (Hogwarts Express) from Fort William to Mallaig. Experience historic Glencoe with its magnificent mountain ranges, or enjoy a visit to Oban known as the seafood capital of the UK.
