Chalet in Carinthia with Sauna near Ski Slopes

Nestled at 1,600 meters on the scenic border of Carinthia and Styria, this beautiful new wooden chalet offers a perfect mix of comfort, privacy, and breathtaking alpine views. Designed for larger groups or families, the spacious layout features 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms across two floors, providing ample space for everyone. The cosy living room with a fireplace and satellite TV invites relaxing evenings, while the fully equipped kitchen complete with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge makes it easy to prepare delicious home-cooked meals.

After a day of exploring, unwind in your private sauna or enjoy the fresh mountain air on the balcony or terrace. Outside, the lawn with garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue is ideal for summer evenings under the stars. The chalet also offers a carport, storage space, and practical amenities for a comfortable stay.

The location is a year-round paradise! In winter, the Weinebene ski area is right on your doorstep, offering slopes, cross-country trails, and snowshoeing. In summer, the region transforms into a hiker’s dream, with panoramic trails through alpine meadows and challenging mountain biking routes. Day trips to nearby towns let you experience authentic Austrian culture, while the surrounding Koralpe range promises endless opportunities for adventure and relaxation.

Note: Well-behaved pets are welcome too, with a maximum of 2 allowed for €10 per pet per night, ensuring no family member is left behind. Additionally, you are liable to pay final cleaning of 80 Euros (both costs are payable on-site).

Es war ein Wunderschöner Aufenthalt im Almdorf. Sauber, gepflegt und sehr gut ausgestattet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und wurden vor Ort sehr Herzlich begrĂŒĂŸt. Sauna, BĂ€der und die Zimmer waren allesamt sehr sauber und es war zu unserer vollsten zufriedenheit. Wir haben die Tage sehr genossen und konnten uns die Ruhe und Auszeit gönnen, die wir gesucht haben. Bei unserer Ankuft wurde sogar der Ofen fĂŒr uns vorgeheizt damit wir es wohlig warm bei unserer Ankunft hatten. Wir können es nur jedem weiterempfehlen. Immer wieder gerne!

Die Bergfahrt mit dem Auto zum Haus habe ich mich sehr geirrt. Es ist ein vernĂŒnftiger Aufstieg mit dem Auto (20 Min.). Mit meinem Opel Corsa musste ich regelmĂ€ĂŸig im zweiten Gang fahren. Das Haus war in Ordnung bis auf einige kleinere MĂ€ngel (wenige Lampen kaputt oder nicht angeschlossen). Die Aussicht vom Haus ist etwas enttĂ€uschend (BĂ€ume sind in Sicht), aber in unmittelbarer NĂ€he gibt es viele schöne Aussichtspunkte und SpaziergĂ€nge. Zwei Restaurants zu Fuß erreichbar. Es gibt einen schönen Balkon / Terrasse am Haus, wo Sie die Umgebung genießen können. Jeden Tag laufen KĂŒhe mit KĂ€lbern am Haus vorbei, was eine schöne AtmosphĂ€re schafft. Die Lage ist nicht zentral und etwas weiter von allen schönen TouristenausflĂŒgen entfernt. Aus diesem Grund haben wir andere Dinge getan, als wir normalerweise gerne das Arnold Schwarzenegger Museum besuchen wĂŒrden.

Das Haus war perfekt. Legal gerĂ€umig fĂŒr unsere Familie, bestehend aus 9 Personen. Es war sauber und ordentlich. Die KĂŒhe neben dem Haus gaben ein zusĂ€tzliches UrlaubsgefĂŒhl. Der einzige ernste Nachteil war die Reise jeden Tag zum und vom Haus, weil man immer den Berg rauf und runter gehen musste !! Und dann sprichst du etwa 18 km mehr als 20 Minuten. Das wird schnell gelangweilt und fĂŒhrt zu irgendwem.Auch dies ist ein ungĂŒnstiger Ort, um die SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten mit der KĂ€rntenkarte zu sehen, alles ist definitiv 1 Stunde und 15 Minuten Fahrt !!

Der Check-in war okay. Leider war es nicht richtig, wĂ€hrend Sie fĂŒr die Reinigung bezahlen gereinigt. Unsere Erwartung war ein sauberes Haus. Leider enttĂ€uschend diese verschmutzt. Pfannen, Besteck und Teller wurden nicht richtig gereinigt. (Reste der Tomatensauce) Hotplate noch schmutzig war. Teppich wurde in Hundehaaren bedeckt und das Bad war nicht unter der Toilette gereinigt. Der Tag der Abreise war das Reinigungspersonal schon an der TĂŒr, wĂ€hrend wir noch eine halbe Stunde verlassen musste. Wir haben nicht so angenehm erlebt. Es ist ein gerĂ€umiges und gepflegtes Haus. Die Zimmer sind gerĂ€umig und die Badezimmer sind schön. Die Betten gut schlafen. Die Beleuchtung im Wohnzimmer ist nicht sehr atmosphĂ€risch. Das Hotel ist schön und funktioniert gut. Die KĂŒche ist mit ausreichend Geschirr und Besteck. Das Haus ist groß, dass wir dies kein Problem gefunden. Die Kinder hatten viel Spaß. Sie konnten frei draußen mit anderen Kindern spielen. Die KĂŒhe gehen vorbei an Ihrem Haus. Seien Sie nett zu wandern. Wolfsberg hat einen schönen Pool und es gibt viele GeschĂ€fte fĂŒr alle BedĂŒrfnisse. Der Weg dorthin ist einfach zu fahren.
