Luxurious home away from home just minutes from downtown, Abby’s Place is for you. Think Home on the Range cowgirl style! Windmill outside with rocking chairs on front porch. Comfortable living area with sofa sleeper (queen memory foam mattress) and large flat screen TV. Decorated with authentic western gear, including cowboy hat, spurs, lantern and unique, authentic camel saddle for a foot stool! High top wooden table seats 4. Fully furnished kitchen. Cozy Jacuzzi bathtub. Bedroom has custom bed dĂ©cor on a high turquoise Mission bed with flat screen TV in bedroom. The bed is a beautiful and comfortable but sit high off the floor. Perfect place for romance, relaxation, and rejuvenation and is ideal for an extended visit for 2 but accommodates 3. Adjacent to Suite 4 & perfect for 2 couples or family to stay together.
Conveniently located for activities and festivals in Fredericksburg but also central to other Hill Counrty events, such as hiking, cycling, horse racing, car shows and more! The host was very nice, but the bed would creek on every repositioning as you turned over during the night. The mattress had definitely see better days as it was impossible to position your self on the outside parts of the mattress. The Refrigator was very noisy as it went through it cooling cycles & the noise would loud enough to wake you up. Parking and getting in and out was very easy and the location is ideal for access to downtown.

I loved the location and property. It's definitely a nice place to stay with a group of friends if each of them could get the other suites. It's quiet and safe. Ted was very well on communication and checking in throughout the stay. The stay was comfortable and I would definitely book again. I can't comment much in the vineyards as I didn’t go to any. I went to State Parks nearby for hiking and scenic views. I also went to Main street which is ALWAYS a must! I would recommend staying here if you're planning to stay a few days!

My husband and I came to Fredericksburg for a short stay to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary. The bed was comfortable, and the small unit had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The only thing we would like for it to have been ideal is a corner floor lamp, or better ambient light. We are both readers, and the lighting in the living room was not conducive to that. But fine overall.

Stayed the night for my wife’s birthday. Fredericksburg is our favorite place to visit, and this is now our favorite place to stay there! So close to everything while being tucked away off of Main Street just enough to get the outdoorsy cabin vibes as well. Thanks to the gracious hosts, Ted and Leah, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. We will be booking with them again very soon!

Fantastic little place!

Everything was as described online. We were about 7 minutes from downtown, driving. There were dead batteries in one of the remotes but not a big issue. They responded quickly, but maybe leave an extra set in a drawer with a note of where to look. There was someone staying next door and they were early birds and I could hear them talking on the porch while I slept on the couch. This is me being picky, my stay was fantastic and the inconveniences with the batteries and talking were minimal. There were two tvs and had there not been well that would have been a different story.
