God's Country Cabins- Hope I Recently Built

Come, sit, and relax on the porch of one of our newly built cabins. Take in the fresh air and enjoy the countryside views, wildlife, farm animals, and breathtaking sunsets. Our four cabins, Faith, Hope, Mercy, and Grace, each feature their own rustic/elegant style and charm. All the cabins sleep two on a king sized bed with luxurious sheets and bedding, while the bathrooms each feature a large shower and copper sink.

The kitchen has a full sized refrigerator and microwave oven along with a full size coffee maker with teas and other goodies.

We have a beautiful gazebo outside in the common area with a charcoal grill and a large table to gather around and enjoy the country life. Don't forget to bring charcoal and something to grill!

Our cabin, Hope, has an outdoor shower to enjoy along with a private deck with lounge chairs in the back to sit and relax. The stars are amazing at night from this deck view. THIS OPTION IS ONLY FOR HOPE GUESTS!

We are out in the country but only 6 miles from Fredericksburg where you can walk down Main Street, shop, eat wonderful food, check out the wineries, or even learn a bit of history at the Admiral Nimitz museum. Marktplatz on Main St. is where most of Fredericksburg's sought-after events take place.

We reserved the Hope cabin for four nights the first week in July. Things got off on the wrong foot when we showed up to the cabin on Sunday and it had not been serviced/cleaned. Not what you want after a long drive. The bed had not been changed and there were dirty towels on the floor in the bathroom. I called the rental company after hours phone and within a few minutes I got a call back. I was told it was marked as being cleaned but that the cleaning person lived a few minutes away and would be over to clean. We left and went into town to eat dinner. When we returned in two hours the cabin was cleaned and serviced. The cabin is very nice and the location is great. We were the only ones on the property during our visit so it was very peaceful. The four cabins would be a great place for multiple family members or friends to stay. The listing indicates that the Hope cabin is the most recently built however my guess is that it is at least 4-5 years old. We did not use the outdoor shower. To me it appears that the entire property was once very well taken care of and someone took lots of pride in the construction and design. However, it does appear that this may have changed over the years. Still a nice, peaceful, clean place to relax and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. In my opinion, it will need a little TLC to stay a top 10 review in the future. We left the day before the horrific floods devastated the Kerrville area just south of the cabins. God bless !

Great property!

My daughter and I stayed at Hope cabin. We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and cute. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and the back porch. The bed was large and comfortable. When we stayed we were only ones on property and it was so quit and peaceful. The property was the perfect distance for peacefulness and a good distance from everything we wanted to see in do in the area. We would stay on property in the future.

A Peaceful Getaway

Absolutely loved the location. The stars at night were amazing from the back deck. Loved the outside shower and the outdoor grill and gazebo. Bed was comfortable and the decor was great. Lots of meaning in the decorations! Great for a peaceful getaway and much needed rest and relaxation. We will come back and stay in the HOPE cabin.

Perfect little cabin

My husband and I enjoyed a very comfortable and warm stay in the Hope cabin. Very well-built, extremely clean and decorated so well. It really was the perfect cabin get-away, we just wish we could have stayed longer. My only suggestion is a new mattress. It was extremely soft.

Peaceful Getaway

This was the perfect place. It was centrally located to all the areas my husband and I wanted to visit, yet it was just far enough out for us to enjoy the quiet of the country. The cabin was nice and clean, and the hosts were very sweet and welcoming. We loved having morning coffee with the deer and cattle. The atmosphere surrounding the Hope cabin left us feeling refreshed and recharged, something we definitely needed. Highly recommend!

Just right

Fredericksburg without the hustle and bustle of Fredericksburg. This place is located perfectly apart from town for us. We wanted some nature in good proximity to getting back into town. It's probably not a 10-minute drive into downtown - and while there are other cabins within the area, it doesn't feel like you're on top of one another. It's a quiet place, roosters crowing in the distance at sunrise, cows mulling about, and deer prancing around checking out the stuff dropped around as well. All around a peaceful stay.

If you haven’t already booked, you should!

We travel every year for our Anniversary and each year, we try to choose a different place. This year, I chose the Hope cabin and without a doubt, we will be back. It’s the perfect distance from town, not too far but just enough to get away from the hustle and bustle. The card and cookies left for us when we arrived was such a sweet gesture. It was so cozy, quiet and so relaxing. We saw fireflies for the first time in years while sitting outside enjoying the peaceful evening. The outdoor shower (only the Hope cabin) was my favorite. It reminds me of being a kid. We picked up our key in town and had to drop it off, which wasn’t an issue at all being that it literally takes a few seconds, and it’s so easy. The staff is super sweet as well. The only* thing I would recommend is packing your own toilet paper. The one there is very thin but I knew ahead of time due reading reviews beforehand. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at the Hope Cabin. It was such an wonderful, relaxing weekend and I look forward to coming back.

A Piece of Heaven on Planet Earth

We enjoyed three nights in Hope Cabin, one of God’s Country Cabins. It was a cute, one-room space (plus separate bathroom). Country decor, kitchenette with microwave but no cooktop or oven, comfortable bed, bathroom with a spacious shower. There was also an outdoor shower out back. It was very quiet and peaceful. Just what we needed.

We nrecently spent two nights in Hope Cabin of God's Country cabins. The location was perfect- far enough from town to feel secluded but close enough to easily drive into town. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and deck and watching the deer and cattle graze. I would recommend this to adults who want a peaceful stay.
