Welcome to Giving Tree — Where Hill Country Memories Are Made.
The name says it all. Giving Tree was built to give — space for the whole family, shade on a hot Texas afternoon, the kind of kitchen where someone always ends up telling stories while dinner gets made, and a hot tub that holds one more glass of local wine perfectly.
We designed this home for the gatherings worth traveling for: the milestone birthday, the annual family reunion, the friend group that finally got its act together and booked the trip. At 3,700 square feet with six bedrooms and room for 16, there's space to be together — and space to steal a quiet moment of your own.
The Space:
The great room sets the tone the moment you walk in — soaring 20-foot vaulted ceilings, walls of glass that pour Hill Country light across the open floor plan, and a layout made for big dinners and even bigger conversations. It's the kind of room that makes everyone feel at home, whether you're gathered for a meal or just lingering over a morning cup of coffee while the sunlight spills in.
The primary suite is a sanctuary all its own: heated marble floors, a rainfall shower, flat-screen TV with Amazon Firestick, and plush linens that make it genuinely hard to leave. Every guest room is furnished with memory foam mattresses and luxury linens — because we believe the details matter, especially when you've traveled to get here.
The Outdoors:
Step outside and the pool is waiting — crystal clear, all yours, with a sun-soaked tanning ledge and bench seating for the ones who'd rather watch. The shaded veranda with sleek ceiling fans is made for slower moments in between, and when the Texas heat gives way to a Hill Country evening, the in-ground hot tub earns its keep. After a day of exploring Wine Road 290 or wandering Main Street's tasting rooms and beer gardens, there's no better way to end the night.
The Kitchen:
The chef's kitchen was built for the kind of entertaining that happens naturally when the whole family is under one roof. Stainless appliances, a dual-zone wine fridge, two full sets of dishes for indoor and outdoor use, and every cooking essential you'd need — from knife block to Tupperware — means the only thing you need to bring is the appetite.
The Details That Make It Feel Like Home:
Cruelty-free, vegan-friendly toiletries from Public Goods — shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion
Plush bath towels, hand towels, and makeup towels included
Coffee basics stocked and ready for that first quiet morning
Laundry service for towels and linens included after your stay
The Location:
Walk out the front door and you're already in one of Texas's most beloved small towns. Main Street boutiques, restaurants, wine tasting, and live music are just minutes on foot. Wine Road 290, Hill Country trails, and the local golf course are all within easy reach. Giving Tree sits at the center of everything Fredericksburg does best — and gives you a beautiful place to come home to at the end of it all.
Come ready to do everything. Leave feeling like you did nothing but rest.
