We arrived just after the worst Ice Storm that the region had seen in decades. Peach Tree upgraded our room from a standard upstairs room to a bungalow on the ground level, because they were worried that we might encounter Ice on the second floor balcony. Breakfast is just a couple of doughnuts. So go to the Sunrise.

We stayed in a suite this time. It was roomy and met our needs perfectly. We could walk to Main street for shopping and dinner. It was quiet and relaxing. The room has a porch with chairs for chilling.

Based on the cost and level of friendliness, this is a 5 star stay. The bed might creek and you could run out of hot water if you run it too long, but you will not regret your stay. Lovely people!

I recently stayed at Peach Tree Inn & Suites and had a great experience. The location is perfect — just a short walk to Main Street, restaurants and shops. The room was very clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the home-like feel. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The property is a little older and not luxury-style, but it’s well maintained and offers really good value for the price. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Fredericksburg.

The room had a strong musty smell. There was a canister of Damp Rid on a top shelf of a nook where you're supposed to hang your clothes, which had trapped quite a bit of moisture. I like a shower with good water pressure, but this shower head was like a fire hose, which actually hurt to stand in front of. The AC had a plaque stating not to turn it down below 70 degrees F. We didn't sleep comfortably at all; we felt hot under a single bed sheet with the ceiling fan on. We had to take another shower in the morning because we felt sticky from the humidity. This place was built in the 40's, and it doesn't look like much has changed since then, so in my opinion, it's not worth $210 @ night. We didn't plan ahead of time, so we didn't have a lot of choices to stay anywhere else.
