This was my first VRBO house and we were in the area attending a wedding. I was pleasantly surprised that the kitchen had everything we needed! It was clean and roomy for the six of us and close to town.
Our family enjoyed our stay over Spring Break! Walkable to coffee and BBQ. We were thrilled we got to bring our dog along. As a heads up, the backyard isn't fully fenced, which I didn't realize from the pictures, but it worked out well anyway, just keeping him on a leash. The highlights were the comfy beds/pillows, the hot tub, and the house's relaxing vibe. Would love to come back again!
The curtains on the window are very thin so all light comes in the rooms. The lights outside stay on all night and then when the sun comes up it just streams in. There are no fans so it was very uncomfortable during the night. There was no toilet paper in the hall bath. It was very expensive for one night of uncomfortable sleep for everyone.
Home was spacious, clean and well stocked. It was also convenient to downtown and the wineries. Communication with the owner was outstanding! Highly recommend.
This charming house had everything we needed. Some games to play, a nice patio to drink my coffee even saw a red bird. Close to town quiet neighborhood. Fixed supper both nights. Comfortable beds.
We did a "Girl's Trip" to Fredericksburg, and the Schubert House most closely fit our needs. We were a group of 8, with most of us in our mid 50's and 60's. This was the only house that had a dining room table that we were all able to sit at. This was important to us because we all wanted to eat together, as well as play games. We also wanted to rent a house with a hot tub, in which this also provided. We provided two twin air mattresses, which fit perfect in two of the bedrooms. This living room and rest of the house was very clean. They provided beach towels for the hot tub, towels & wash clubs, soap, coffee & tea, and a extra blankets which were all a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again!
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights with our son and 4 of our grandchildren, ages, 5, 7, 7 & 9. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the littles of course loved the cowboy pool, despite the cool water temperature in March! The location was great for all the shops and restaurants located minutes away in downtown Fredericksburg. It was also perfect for us to drive to Enchanted Rock and Pedernales Falls State Parks. We would definitely stay here again. The home had so many extras and a great kitchen table for many hours spent playing card and board games!
