The Lykke House - Peaceful Retreat Close to Main! Sleeps 6

Lykke is the Danish word for happiness and our cozy cottage is full of it! The Danes are notorious classified as the happiest people on the planet and part of that title comes from having a happy home. Although Fredericksberg is a German heritage town, we wanted to bring some lesson down from Germany’s neighbor to the north. Cue: The Lykke House. It’s full of brightness, laughter generating activities, and as much joy as we could muster. We hope it brings the same to you and yours.

There's an unobstructed view to the west that lends itself to some incredible sunsets. Jump on the swing underneath the huge pecan trees for some breathtaking views. You may catch a glimpse of some of the wild deer or turkeys that frequent the adjacent property.

Short 2 min drive, or roughly 20 min walk to main street.

Great Place

Lovely old home with tons of charm. Entire yard is fenced which was perfect for our dog, and trees are all climbable, which is perfect for our kids!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lykke House! It was just as advertised, or maybe even better! Perfect for our girls trip with plenty of room and 2 bathrooms! Thanks for a lovely home!
