This condo has 2 queen beds, brand new AC, a gorgeous high end bathroom, kitchenette, TV, excellent Wifi, a desk and more. Sheets, towels, soap, shampoo & conditioner included.

Guests love the restaurant with a big menu, the pool, poolside tiki bar, plus beach towels, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel, and more.

Boat Slip:
You can book a boat slip in advance through the front desk, we can help with that!

Resort Amenities:
You have full access to the pool, pool towels, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear, on-site gym, basketball court, bikes and so much more. Old Bahama

Condo was clean. Has a wonderful view of the water. Host was very helpful and timely with responses. He gave us a very detailed description of the property and things to do when we initially booked. We had booked for an extended stay but left early due to it raining every day. There is not much to do when it’s nice weather, let alone a full downpour. It’s good to keep in mind the resort is intended for fisherman, so there is not much to do in general. You have various water activities (snorkeling, swimming, paddle-boarding, etc.) but a limited cove to do so. Same with the beach - not much to walk. We went into “town” one day to see what other options are were but unfortunately the area really never recovered from the 2019 hurricane. There is one market in town to get snacks and larger bottles of water (which you will need). Advice I have: bring cash and if intending to stay more than a couple days, treat it as a camping trip in terms of food and drinks as there is only one restaurant (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and a tiki hut that closes when it rains.

I’ve stayed here twice and we had ants both times. Last time I had no food in the condo and still had ants. Water went out on the resort and had no water to brush my teeth or use the bathroom or take a shower. Communication between the property manager was not good either. We will never stay there again.

The condo was perfect! I would definitely stay there again, however the property needs some tlc. The gym smelled of mold and the equipment was dusty. The outside area overlooking the balcony had quite a few broken lounge chairs and hammock pile up under a tree. It was not a pleasant sight. Everything else was great. No complaints about the room. It was a bit quiet but it didn't bother me at all.

Bring your own bed

The unit looked as described in the listing. These buildings are old and this unit hasn't been updated. Various things need attention. Our main complaint is the condition of the beds. The beds are absolutely the hardest bed that we have ever slept on. Rather than complain, on the first day, we tried a night of sleep. We even flipped over the mattress to try the other side. These older mattresses have that option. The newer ones don't. Unfortunately, they were extra frim and we were never able to get a good night sleep on our Anniversary wkd. I texted the owner and he stated that he loved the beds and didn't have any other complaints. We didn't believe that at all. He told us that we should rent another unit, at our cost, if we needed a better bed. He had no empathy or interest in helping us. We have been visiting and staying at OBB, for over 20 years and never had any problems. Until the beds are replaced with comfortable beds, I cannot recommend this unit of Shawn's.
