SeaHaven Getaway

My family and I vacation at Surfside every year. We truly enjoyed our stay at SeaHaven this year. We enjoy the convenience of the pool and hot tub and also the beach being so close. It is a great place to stay at Surfside Beach!

This compound was amazing for us and our dogs! Wd all enjoyed the wrap around decks, yard, views, nature and the beautifil home itself - with a seperate "apartment" downstairs. This was like renting a small hotel. It's completely fenced and we had no worries letting our dogs out the front door to explore/potty. It was like being at home - if we won the lottery. We can't recommend this rental enough. We had so much fun,was so relaxing, made beautiful memories that we will never forget!

This is a very beautiful home and property. The house has lots of room. Beautiful views from every angle. Even with rain everyone enjoyed playing in the pool. This is a very nice place for family reunions. The beach is very close to walk too.

Wonderful beach house vacation

Sea Haven is a beautiful house with everything you could possibly need for a perfect beach vacation. This property is well managed and cared for. It is a short walk to the beach with a great restaurant across the street. The pool area is well set up for lounging and having fun. It was so wonderful to take our 2 dogs with us as the property is fenced. We wil most certainly visit again!

Large Family Surfside Getaway

Every summer, my whole family finds a beach house large enough to hold multiple family's. This house was certainly at the Top of the list in terms of amenities and cleanliness. This home is so lovely inside & out. The views are fabulous, the house extremely comfortable, and just what a family vacation home should be. This house was perfect for our Girls Beach Weekend! There was plenty of room for everyone in our group, which was 9 ladies, inside and outside the house. The pool is very spacious and the house had everything needed for cooking and serving meals. Matt, the owner, was very responsive and we really enjoyed our girls’ getaway! Would definitely stay here again!!

This home is not only beautiful and perfectly located, but it is stocked and very comfortable. Management was so nice and attentive. The coutdoor area is heaven on earth with the beach steps away. We cooked on the outdoor griill. Everything was working, well manicured and clean. Even the pool man was extremely nice and knowledgeable. This home is huge with a seperate "apartment" downstairs, but it has a homey, comfortable feel. Plus, it's just steps from the beach, stores, golf cart rentals, restaurants and a coffee shop. Even in October the surf was warm and the pool was amazing. We enjoyed the views from the decks day and night. The grounds have more than enough room for people, pets and parking. We have rented many vacation homes in Galveston and Surfside, this one is now our favorite!

Nicest House in Surfside

Definitely the nicest house in the entire area. Pool was perfect, kids swam in it everyday and night. Only a short walk to the beach, great waves and tons of shells. The house was clean and provided more than enough space for 5 adults and 6 kids. The owner was very responsive. If we come back to surfside we will look for this property again.

The property is absolutely beautiful! Convenient location. Love the privacy and security with the fencing and gate. Plenty of parking. Lots of conveniences in this home through all levels. I was looking for a home to rent with beach access and also a pool, we love the ocean and also are pool people we have a very young grand grand children and teaching them to swim in a pool was ideal! We planned a group trip to stay here and couldn’t have picked a better spot! Matthew communicated so well from the time we booked to the time we checked out. Property was fine exactly what was expected and owner was very on top of making sure we had everything we needed. Had a great time, couple of days of 'off' weather but dressing for the wind and rain the beach walks were terrific. Great waves! Good seafood restaurant across the street and great Gulf watching restaurant at the end of the block. St Patrick's Day Parade was an added bonus as it went right in front of our location. Thanks.

Matthew's Beach House was perfect for our family reunion. The pool is perfect for a hot summer day, and the location near the beach, restaurants, and bars can't be beat. We were able to catch crabs in the pond behind the house to add to our shrimp boil, and the outdoor areas and ground level kitchen and bathroom made feeding our large family easy. Matthew is very communicative, met us at check in and check out, and texted me during our stay just to see if we needed anything. The deck on the pond side of the house is shaded and gets a great breeze for ocean viewing and reading. We had a great time!

Great Family Staycation

The house is Beautiful!! (Do not go by pictures on Google Maps). The remodel and upgrades are what we referred to all weekend as "Fancy". The light fixtures and showers are modern and very nice. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We spent our afternoons fishing and crabbing off the dock (Caught ALOT of crabs) and the beach is literally a 5 min walk away. We rent in Surfside several times a year and this house is by far the best so far. Matthew was a great host and we are already making plans for our next rental.
