Coolest hallways of any hotel in the area! Nice open spaces and large suites. Dishes-especially the coffee cups could use some updating, as they were small. Comfortable living room furniture.

This building seems to be a converted retirement community. The facility itself seems to be well maintained, although little things were bothersome: the towels were old and threadbare, and the soap et al. were barely sufficient for a single person, so if you’re more than one, ask for extras at checkin.

Nice setting. One of the rooms for our group had not been cleaned and another was missing the shower curtain - but staff made quick and appropriate changes

This is definitely an older property on the island but it gave us everything we needed for our one night stay in San Juan Island. It’s a 12min walk to the harbor which includes all the shops & restaurants and the staff was more than accommodating & friendly. Would definitely stay here again if we ever go back.

There is NO free breakfast or on site restaurant ( they keep saying it’s going to open) but I called weeks in advance of our visit, and was told it was going to open the next week-we stayed 5 weeks later, and no restaurant. I can understand the “ Covid “ changes- but you can have pre-packaged take along breakfast. They also advertise a shuttle- but the hours are sketchy and really don’t work if you go whale watching. I was treated with a very snarky attitude by 2 of the front desk clerks- the other two were helpful and apologetic. I would advise the manager to have daily staff updates so they don’t give “wrong” information like I was.
